Thank you for purchasing your new SENZ TOURIST 2 DAB+/FM radio.
We recommend that you spend some time to read this instruction manual in
order that you fully understand all the operational features it oers.
Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this
instruction manual for future reference.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Read all the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for
future reference.
Check that the voltage marked on the rating label matches your mains
voltage.
• The unit must be placed on a at stable surface and should not be
subjected to vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable surfaces as the unit may fall
o or tip over.
• The mains socket must be located near the unit and should be easily
accessible.
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit
well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
• Never place any type of candle or naked ame on the top of or near the
unit.
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or product damage, do not expose
this unit to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No objects lled with
liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.
If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it
oat the mains immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and consult your
dealer.
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or re hazard due to overheating,
ensure that curtains and other materials do not obstruct the ventilation
vents.
Safety
• Always disconnect the unit from the mains supply before connecting/
disconnecting other devices or moving the unit.
• Unplug the unit from the mains socket during a lightning storm.
• This unit will become warm when used for a long period of time.
• This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the unit.
Mains Adapter
• Make sure the unit is not resting on top of the mains adapter cable, as the
weight of the unit may damage the cable and create a safety hazard.
If the mains adapter is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer,

its service agent, or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Interference
Do not place the unit on or near appliances which may cause
electromagnetic interference. If you do, it may adversely aect the
operating performance of the unit, and cause a distorted sound.
Supervision
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
Never let anyone especially children push anything into the holes, slots or
any other openings in the case - this could result in a fatal electric shock.
Service/Maintenance
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. The unit does
not contain any user serviceable parts. leave all maintenance work to
qualied person.
• Do not open any xed covers as this may expose dangerous voltages.
• Ensure to unplug the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Do not use any type of abrasive pad or abrasive cleaning solutions as
these may damage the unit's surface.
• Do not use liquids to clean the unit.
Earphones
• Listening to loud sounds for prolonged periods of time may permanently
damage your hearing.
Before putting on earphones, turn the volume down then put the
earphones on and slowly increase the volume until you reach a
comfortable listening level.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
POWER SUPPLY
AC Adaptor Operation
Insert one end of the AC adaptor to the Micro-B DC socket (Location 12) of
the unit, and the other end to the power supply. The unit will be
automatically in standby mode when connecting to AC power.
To disconnect the set from the AC supply completely, withdraw the AC
adaptor from the wall outlet.
DC (battery) Operation
1. To operate your unit on batteries, the AC adaptor must be disconnected
from the unit and Wall outlet. If not, the unit will be operated by AC power,
instead of DC batteries.
2. Insert 3 batteries, type R14, UM2 or C cells (not included) into battery
compartment and then close the compartment cover (Location 15).
Notes
Check your batteries regularly. Old or discharged batteries should be replaced. If
the unit is not to be used for some time or is being run exclusively on AC electrical
current, remove batteries from the battery compartment to avoid leakage.
Warning: Before using the unit, check that the local mains supply is compatible
with the unit. Do not plug or unplug the power cable when your hands wet.
When planning not to use the unit for long periods of time (i.e. vacation etc.)
disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
Switch On The Radio
1. When in AC power supply, press ON/STANDBY to switch on the radio.
When in DC (battery) power supply, press and hold ON/STANDBY to
switch on the radio.
2. Press ON/STANDBY once again to enter standby mode.
DAB Mode
1. Press MODE to select the DAB mode.

Auto Scan
1. Adjust the antenna extension and angle to have the best reception.
2. The first time entering to the DAB mode, it will automatically select DAB
mode and start a quick scan of the DAB channels to search for available
stations. Please leave it to complete this process.
3. Rotate SELECT to select desired station.
Note: You may have to wait for the unit to tune into the new channel.
4. Press SCAN can fully scan the available channels again.
Manual Scan
1. Hold MENU/INFO button, the display shows full scan, then rotate
SELECT knob to select manual tune, press SELECT knob to enter.
2. Rotate SELECT knob to select desired channel (5A-13F), press SELECT
to enter the channel.
3. Select station by pressing SELECT
FM Mode
1. Press MODE to select the FM mode.
Manual tuning
Switch tuning SELECT, until the desired station is found.
Automatic tuning
1. Press SCAN and the display frequency starts to run.
2. When a station of sucient strength has been found tuning stops, or you
can start automatic tuning by pressing SCAN again.
To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To improve FM Reception incline and
turn the aerial, reduce its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very close to
a transmitter).
DAB / FM Radio Stations Preset:
You can store the frequencies of up to 20 radio stations in the memory. A
stored frequency can be erased from the memory by storing another
frequency in its place.
1. In DAB or FM mode, tune to your desired station.

2. Hold PRESET until the display with showing 1-20 (1-20 is the preset
position number)
If the preset number is empty,Preset Empty” is shown.
If the position is saved with station, station frequency is shown.
3. Rotate SELECT to select the desired memory location.
4. Press SELECT once to conrm and save the selected station.
5. To listen to a preset station:
• Press PRESET once,
• Rotate SELECT for selecting your desired station.
Bluetooth Function
1. Press MODE to select the Bluetooth mode.
2. Activate the Bluetooth function in your Bluetooth device.
3. Select “SENZ TOURIST 2” on your Bluetooth device for pairing. The
speakers will have a pop sound to conrm if successfully connect with your
Bluetooth device.
4. Start music play on your Bluetooth device.
After connected, you can control the playback, pause, next, previous
function by both yout Bluetooth device or the unit directly.
5. Press SCAN / PLAY PAUSE button for seconds to disconnect the
pairing of Bluetooth function. The Bluetooth indicator will be ashing after
pairing disconnected.
Tips:
The device will be disconnected when the device is moved beyond the
operational range. If you want to reconnect the device to the unit, place it
within the operational range.
Note:
The operational range between this unit and a Bluetooth device is
approximately 10 meters. Any obstacle between this unit and a Bluetooth
device can reduce the operational range.
Before you connect a Bluetooth device to this unit, familiarize yourself with
the Bluetooth capabilities of the device. Compatibility with all Bluetooth
devices is not guaranteed.
Keep this unit away from any other electronic device that may cause

interference.
USB, Micro SD Card Playback
Able to decode and playback all MP3 les which stored in the memory media
with USB connector, MICRO SD Card Slot.
1. Press MODE to select the USB mode or SD mode.
2. Before connecting the USB media to the unit, make sure the port is in
correct direction and will connect. Or insert MICRO SD Card straightly
without bending.
3. The system will automatically start reading the MP3 les in the USB
Storage Media, MICRO SD Card.
4. Press USB MICRO SD PREVIOUS / PLAY PAUSE / NEXT buttons for
Previous / Play & Pause / Next functions.
Wrongly connect the USB Storage Media or MICRO SD Card upside
down could damage the unit or the USB Storage Media or MICRO SD
Card. A locked MICRO SD Card cannot be detected or playback.
Using the AUX Input
1. Press MODE to select the AUX mode.
2. Connect the AUX connect wire from the out jack of your Personal Player
such as portable MP3 player to the AUX input jack
3. Turn on your Personal Player to begin playing, adjust the volume to
desire listening level.
4. Adjust the volume by pressing the VOLUME + or VOLUME -
Normal Operation
Setting the Time
Automatic tuning
The DAB radio signal and FM radio RDS signal have current time information.
After a short time the current time will appear on the display. If no signal is
found, the time cannot be set. It may be necessary to relocate your radio to
a position giving better reception.

Manual tuning
1. During in Standby mode / DAB mode / FM mode, hold MENU for seconds
to entry the Menu Setting mode.
2. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the System menu list <System>.
3. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the Time menu list <Time>.
4. Rotate and press SELECT to entry varies settings <Set Time/Date>
<Set Date Format> <Set 12/24 Hour> and <Auto Update>.
5. Set the current Time and Date.
Setting the Alarm
1. During in Standby mode / DAB mode / FM mode, hold MENU for seconds
to entry the Menu Setting mode.
2. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the System menu list <System>.
3. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the Alarm menu list <Alarm>.
4. Rotate and press SELECT to entry Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 setting.
5. Rotate and press SELECT to entry varies settings <Alarm On/O>
<Alarm Time><Wake up mode -Daily/ Once
/Weekdays/Weekends><Wake Up sound - DAB/FM/BEEPER /USB/SD >
and <Sound Volume>.
6. To make sure the alarm icon is switch on if alarm function is in using.
Snooze Function:
When the alarm sounds, press SELECT button to keep snoozing another 9
minutes.
Press ON/STANDBY to stop the sound from the alarm. (Radio will be
turned o at the same time.)
Sleep Function:
1. During in DAB mode / FM mode, hold MENU for seconds to entry the
Menu Setting mode.
2. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the System menu list <System>.
3. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the Sleep menu list <Sleep>.
4. Rotate and press and press SELECT to select a time. For example, when
the time <15 minutes> is selected, the radio turns o automatically
after 15 minutes.

Volume
Adjust the sound with the controls VOLUME + or VOLUME -
You may connect headphones (not included) to 3.5mm HEADPHONE JACK.
The loudspeaker is then muted.
Avoid listening to headphones at high volume levels to prevent
possible hearing damage.
Setting the OSD language
1. During in Standby mode / DAB mode / FM mode, hold MENU for seconds
to entry the Menu Setting mode.
2. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the System menu list <System>.
3. Rotate and press SELECT to entry the Language menu list <Language>.
4. Rotate and press SELECT to select the desired OSD Language.

DRIFTSINSTRUKSER
STRØMFORSYNING
Bruk med vekselstrømadapter
Sett den ene enden av vekselstrømadapteren i Micro-B-likestrømkontakten
(plassering 12) på enheten, og sett den andre enden i strømforsyningen.
Enheten går automatisk i ventemodus når den kobles til vekselstrøm.
For å koble apparatet fra strømforsyningen helt du koble
strømadapteren fra stikkontakten.
Bruk med likestrøm (batteri)
1. For å bruke enheten med batterier strømadapteren kobles fra
enheten og stikkontakten. Hvis ikke går enheten strøm fra vekselstrøm i
stedet for likestrømbatteriene.
2. Sett inn 3 batterier av type R14-, UM2- eller C-celler (ikke inkludert) i
batterirommet, og lukk deretter lokket til rommet (plassering 15).
Merknader
Sjekk batteriene regelmessig. Gamle eller utladede batterier bør byttes. Hvis
enheten ikke skal brukes en stund, eller kun kjøres vekselstrøm fra
stikkontakt, må du erne batteriene fra batterirommet for å unn lekkasje.
Advarsel: Før du bruker enheten, du sørge for av strømforsyningen er
kompatibel med enheten. Ikke koble til eller fra strømkabelen med våte hender.
Når du ikke skal bruke enheten en lengre stund (ferie osv.), kobler du støpselet
fra stikkontakten.
Slå på radioen
1. Når radioen er koblet til vekselstrøm, trykker du ON/STANDBY for å slå
den på. Når radioen er koblet til likestrøm, holder du inne ON/STANDBY
for å slå den på.
2. Trykk ON/STANDBY igjen for å sette den i ventemodus.
DAB-modus
1. Trykk MODE for å velge DAB-modus.

Automatiskk
1. Juster lengden og posisjonen til antennen for å forbedre signalmottaket.
2. Første gang radioen går inn i DAB-modus, vil den automatisk velge
DAB-modus og skanne raskt etter DAB-kanaler for å søke etter
tilgjengelige stasjoner. Vent mens den fullfører denne prosessen.
3. Drei VELG for å velge ønsket stasjon.
Merk: Du kan måtte vente på at enheten stiller inn til den nye kanalen.
4. Trykk SCAN for å skanne etter tilgjengelige kanaler på nytt.
Manuelt søk
1. Hold inne MENY/INFO-knappen, viser skjermen full scanning,
dreier du VELG-knappen for å velge manuell tuning og trykker
SELECT-knappen for å gå inn.
2. Drei VELG-knappen for å velge ønsket kanal (5A–13F), og trykk VELG for
å velge kanalen.
3. Velg stasjon ved å trykke SELECT.
FM-modus
1. Trykk MODE for å velge FM-modus.
Manuelt søk
Trykk VELG til ønsket stasjon er funnet.
Automatisk innstilling
1. Trykk SCAN, så begynner frekvensen å løpe på skjermen.
2. Når det blir funnet en stasjon med godt nok signal, stopper søker; du kan
starte automatisk innstilling ved å trykke SCAN igjen.
For å forbedre mottaket:
- For FM trekker du ut teleskopantennen. For å forbedre FM-mottaket
vipper og vrir du antennen; reduser lengden hvis FM-signalet er for sterkt
(veldig nær en sender).
Forhåndsinnstilling av DAB-/FM-radiostasjoner:
Du kan lagre frekvensene til opptil 20 radiostasjoner i minnet. En lagret
frekvens kan slettes fra minnet ved å lagre en annen frekvens
posisjonen.
