Start-up / Maintenance and Cleaning / Disposal
Place the glass plate 11 onto the spacer 9,
and then secure using the washer (rubber) 12
and the acorn nut 13 .
Use the slotted holes in the mounting bracket 1
intended for the screws to mark the drill holes.
Now drill the fixing holes (approx. 6 mm, depth
approx. 40 mm). Ensure that you do not damage
the supply line.
Feed the mains connection cable (external) 6
through the protective tubes 7.
Insert the wall plugs 2 into the drill holes.
Fasten the mounting bracket 1 with the screws
4 provided.
Now connect the connection cable for the lamp
to the mains connection cable (external) 6
using the included terminal block 5.
Note: Be sure to correctly connect each of the
individual wires of the mains connection cable
(external) 6: live wire, black or brown = sym-
bol L, neutral wire, blue = symbol N, ground
wire, green-yellow = symbol .
Now use the locating screws 3 to connect the
lamps to the mounting bracket 1.
Use a clean, lint-free cloth when inserting the
lamp 14 .
Carefully insert the lamp 14 into the socket.
Check for correct positioning.
Reinsert the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker
in the fuse box (I position).
Your light is now ready to use.
Replacing lamps
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
First disconnect the light from the mains when replac-
ing the lamp. To do so, remove the fuse or switch
off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (position 0).
Allow the lamp to cool off completely.
Use a clean, lint-free cloth to replace a bulb.
Carefully remove the defective lamp 14 from
the socket.
Now carefully insert the new light bulb 14 into
the socket.
Check for correct positioning.
Reinsert the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker
in the fuse box (I position).
Your light is now ready to use.
Maintenance and Cleaning
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Disconnect the light from the mains circuit before
cleaning. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off
the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
For electrical safety, never clean the light with water
or other liquids, or immerse it in water.
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE TO
HOT SURFACES! Allow the light to cool com-
pletely.
Do not use solvents, benzene or similar sub-
stances. They could damage the light.
Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
Reinsert the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker
in the fuse box (I position).
Disposal
The package and packaging materials
consist entirely of environmentally friendly
materials. They can be disposed of at
your local recycling facility.
The symbol of the wheelie bin with the line
through it indicates within the European
Union, this product must be disposed of
through separate refuse collection. This applies to
t
he product and to all components bearing this sym
bol.
Do not dispose of products bearing this symbol in
your normal household waste, but instead they must
be taken for recycling to a collection site for electrical
and electronic appliances. Recycling helps to reduce
the consumption of raw materials and protects the
environment.
