Thank you for purchasing your new POINT Ultrasonic Humidifier.
The humidifier helps you to restore an appropriate level of humidity and eliminate the
discomfort associated with dry air. The ventilation system diffuses water in the form of a cool or
warm vapor in order to provide the desired level of humidity. This vapor is characterized by a mist
discharged through the diffusion nozzle.
We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order to fully
understand all the operational features it offers.

SAFETY WARNING

for future reference:
Follow all the safety precautions listed below for
safety and to reduce the risk of injury or
electrical shock.
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and know ledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved .Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Before using this appliance ensure that the
voltage of your electricity supply is the same as
that indicated on the rating plate of the
appliance.
Always place the humidifier on a hard, flat and
level surface. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight

and always keep it away from walls and heat
sources such as stoves, radiators, etc. Warning:
The appliance may not work correctly if it is not
placed on a level surface.
Do not insert or remove the electric plug on the
appliance with wet hands.
If the mains power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufactures, its service agent,
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
remove screws. The unit does not contain any
user-serviceable parts. Leave all maintenance
work to qualified personnel.
Fill the tank with fresh, distilled or demineralised
water. Do not switch on the appliance when
there is no water in the tank.
Do not shake the appliance as this might cause
the water to spill over into the base unit.
If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause
serious damage. Switch it off at the mains power
supply immediately. Withdraw the electric plug
and consult your dealer.

Never touch the water or components while the
unit is in operation.
If there is an unusual smell when it is being used
as described in these manual, switch the
appliance off, unplug it and have it examined by
your dealer.
Do not pour hot water into the tank, i.e. at a
temperature in excess of 40 degree C.
Unplug the appliance before cleaning it or
removing the tank .
Do not immerse the appliance or the mains
power cable or plug in water or other liquids.
Never scrape the transducer with a hard tool.
The humidifier must be cleaned regularly. To do
this, refer to the cleaning instructions in this
manual.
If you spill any liquid into the appliance, it can
cause serious damage. Switch it off at the mains
power supply immediately, withdraw the electric
plug and consult your dealer.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains power
supply when not in use and before cleaning.
Ensure that the mains power cable does not

touch any hot surface and that it does not
overhang a table edge.
Never use this appliance in a room where aerosol
products (sprays) are used or in a room or where
oxygen it being administered.
Do not put items of clothing or towels on top of
the appliance. If the nozzle is obstructed, this
may cause the appliance to malfunction.
When moving the appliance, lift it by the base
unit and not by the water tank.
Do not use the humidifier if the air in the room is
already sufficiently humid (relative humidity of
at least 50%). The ideal relative humidity level
for human comfort is in fact between 45% and
60%. Excess humidity shows up in the form of
condensation on cold surfaces or cold walls in
the room. To measure the room’s humidity
correctly, use a hygrometer available in most
specialist shops and hypermarkets.
The humidifier is designed for indoor and
domestic use only.

Working Principle: Your Ultrasonic Humidifier uses the
ultrasonic high-frequency oscillator to break up water into
tiny water particles with the diameter of about 1-5um.The
ventilation system blows out this water into the dry air where
they evaporate to give the required humidity. The clearly
visible smooth and even fog can be seen coming out of the
unit.
Correct Humidity Level:
What exactly is relative humidity: Relative humidity is the
amount of water vapor in the air, expressed as a percentage
of the maximum amount that the air could hold at the given
temperature. We normally mark it with RH, like 45RH.
Atomosphereic air always contains water vapor, the
percentage of which depends on the meterological
conditions. The higher the temperature is the more the air
keeps water vapor. Therefore, we use the concept of ‘relative
humidity”. When the cold air is heated up to the comfort
temperature in winter, the relative percentage of the water
vapor falls which means the relative humidity drops. In order
to keep a comfortable and health environment at home, we
need some artificial addition of water or water vapor to the
room air- thats air humidification.

Operation
During first time use, put the humidifier in room temperature
for half of an hour before running.
It is recommended to use the humidifier under temperatures
of 20 degree C, with relative humidity of less than 80%RH .
Use clear water not over 40 degree C.
Check the water basin, to make sure it is clear.
1. Put the humidifier on a flat surface.
2. Pour water into the water tank, and then tighten the tank
cover.
3. Put the water tank on the main base.
4. Check if the rated voltage meets the input voltage, and
plug into the mains power socket.
5. Touch the POWER button on the humidifier, and it will
begin to work in mist output level 2 , blue decoration light in
the bottom will be on. The display will show the current
humidity , after 15 seconds , the display will show mist
output level “2” again . 1 minute later, it will turn back to show
current humidity again , the display will repeat this cycle.
6. Touch the MAX / MIN button, you may select from 3
desired levels of mist volume. The corresponding digit will
appear on the display. 1-low , 2- medium and 3-high mist
output volume. When the current humidity is showing in the
display, first touch the button to check the current mist
output level, from 2nd touch then touch again to select other
desired level.
7. Timer setting: There are 12 timer settings:
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 hours. Touch the TIMER

button, and the LED display will show the desired setting
timer, for example “01”. Touch till “-- --” appears on the LED
display, the timer setting is cancelled. Without operation 5
seconds after touching the button, the timer does not
twinkle, this means that the timer setting is successful. The
display will show the current humidity after 1 minute.
The timer shows the rest operation time every minute and
decreases by 1 hour, i.e., if the timer is set at 12 hours, the
LED display will show 11 after 1 hour.
There is a shortcut for the timer setting. Long touching the
TIMER button 2 seconds to cancel timer setting.
8. Constant humidity: Before you touch the HUMIDITY
button, the LED display will show the current humidity. You
may set the humidity from 30%RH to 90%RH. Touch once, it
will increase by 5%RH. When it reaches 90%RH, touch again,
it will show “Co” and without operation 5 seconds to exit
humidity setting function.
After you set the expected humidity, the humidifier will keep
the memory and confirm by quick twinkle in 5 seconds. Then
the display will show the expected humidity by a slow
twinkle. 1 minute later, the display will show the current
humidity. The expected humidity is shown as a slow twinkle
every 1 minute.
If the expected humidity is higher than the current humidity,
the humidify function will work. When it’s 16%RH higher, the
humidifier works in mist output level 3; when it’s higher
between 10%RH -15%RH, the humidifier works in level 2;
when it’s higher between 1%RH -9%RH, devise works in

level 1. But if the expected humidity is less than the current
humidity, the humidifier will be in sleeping state.
Mist output speed cannot be setting during the constant
humidity model.
9. When the humidifier is working, long touch the button
for 2 seconds, and it will be enter to night mode. Blue
decoration light in the bottom is off, and LED display turns
off. Touch any button to wake up the display. Touch the
button again to make function operation. Then long press
the button again to stop night mode.
10. Auto Shut-Off: Once the water in the basin is too little to
keep the humidifier working, the humidifier will
automatically stop working. Red decoration light in the
bottom will turn on. Refill the water, and the humidifier will
restart in previous condition. If you do not refill water within
5 minutes, the humidifier will automatically power off.

Using the aroma function:
A, Pull out the aroma box from the base.
B, Use a water-soluble aroma oil and drop on to the sponge.
C, Put the aroma box back into the humidifier, the aroma
function will remain on when the humidifier is running.
D, To stop the aroma function or when storing the humidifier ,
clean the sponge in the aroma box.
Operation steps:
Take the water tank out of the humidifier, open the water
tank cover and fill the tank with clear water.
Close the cover and put the tank onto the base unit carefully.
Put the nozzle into the socket on top of the water tank.
Connect the power supply, switch on the unit (NEVER RUN
THE UNIT WHEN THERE IS NO WATER IN WATER BASIN), the
main connection lamp will turn on. The humidifier will begin
working.

Maintenance:
In a case when the water is hard which means the water
contains too much calcium and magnesium, it can cause a
“white powder” problem and leave heavy scales on the
surface of the water basin, transducer and inner surface of
the water tank. Scales on the surface of transducer will cause
the unit to work improperly.
We recommend:
1) Use cold boiled water or distilled water.
2) Clean the transducer, water tank and basin unit every
week.
3) Change the water in the water tank more often to keep it
fresh.
4) Make sure to pull out the water from the water tank and
dry the water basin before you store the unit unused for a
long period of time.
5) Clean the whole unit and make sure that all the parts of
the unit are dried completely before storing for longer
period of time.

How to clean the transducer:
1) Put 5-10 drops of cleaning abluent on the surface of the
transducer, wait for 2-5 minutes.
2) Brush off the scale from the surface.
3) Rinse the transducer with clean water.
How to clean the basin unit:
1) Clean the water basin with soft cloth and the cleaning
abluent if there is scale in it.
2) If the scale is covered on the security switch, drop the
cleaning abluent on the scale and clean it out with the
brush.
3) Rinse the water basin with clean water.
This symbol on the product or in the instructions
means that your electrical and electronic equipment should
be disposed at the end of its life separately from your house
hold waste. There are separate collection systems for
recycling in the EU. For more information, please contact the
local authority or your retailer where you purchased the
product.
