Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it
for future reference.
- Never suck up water or any other liquid. Never suck up ammable
substances and do not suck up ashes until they are cold.
- Never immerse the vacuum cleaner or the charger in water or any
other liquid.
- Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the
local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner or the charger if it is damaged.
- The charger and its adapter cannot be replaced. If the charger or its
adapter is damaged, the appliance must be discarded.
- The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to
replace it with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
- Remove the adapter from the wall socket before you clean the
charger.
- Only charge the vacuum cleaner with the charger supplied. During
charging, the adapter feels warm to the touch. This is normal.
- Always switch off the vacuum cleaner after use.
- The voltage on the contact strips in the charger is low (max. 12 volts)
and therefore not dangerous.
- Never block the exhaust air openings during vacuuming.
- Switch off the appliance when you recharge it.
- Always use the vacuum cleaner with the lter unit assembled.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, be careful when you drill holes in
the wall to attach the charger, especially close to a wall socket.
- Charge, store and use the appliance at a temperature between 5°C
and 35°C.
- Do not dismantle or short-circuit the batteries. Protect the batteries
from re, heat and direct sunlight.
- Noise level: Lc= 84 dB(A)
This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding
electromagnetic elds (EMF). If handled properly and according to the
instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on
scientic evidence available today.

1 Attach the charger to the wall as shown in the gure. (Fig. 2)
If you attach the charger to the wall, the space between the screw holes
has to be 12cm.
2 You can also place the charger on a horizontal surface (e.g. a table
or desk) (Fig. 3).
3 Wind excess mains cord around the reel in the back of the charger
and pass the cord through the slot (Fig. 4).
Charge the appliance for at least 16 hours before you use it for the rst
time.
Tip: If you are not going to use the appliance for a longer period of
time, remove the adapter from the wall socket to save energy.
1 Make sure the appliance is switched off.
2 Put the adapter in the wall socket.
3 Place the vacuum cleaner on the charger (Fig. 5).
- Make sure you place the opening in the back of the vacuum cleaner
on the hook of the charger (Fig. 6).
, The charging light ashes to indicate that the appliance
is charging (Fig. 7).
, The charging light is on continuously to indicate that the appliance
is fully charged.
1 Push the on/off slide forwards to switch on the appliance (Fig. 8).
- If you want to use normal power, select speed 1.
- If you want to use high power, select speed 2.
2 Push the on/off slide backwards to switch off the appliance (Fig. 9).

The appliance comes with the following accessories:
- a brush tool to clean delicate surfaces;
- a crevice tool to vacuum corners or narrow gaps.
1 Take the accessory you want to use from the charger.
2 Attach the accessory to the nozzle of the appliance (Fig. 10).
Never immerse the vacuum cleaner or the charger in water or any
other liquid.
Always remove the adapter from the wall socket before you clean the
charger.
1 Clean the outside of the appliance and the charger with a damp
cloth.
2 If the contact points of the charger are dirty, wipe them with a dry
cloth.
Make sure you empty and clean the dust compartment regularly.
To empty the dust compartment quickly:
1 Press the nozzle release button (1) and take the detachable nozzle
off the appliance (2) (Fig. 11).
2 Shake the contents of the dust compartment out into a
dustbin (Fig. 12).
1 Hold the appliance over a dustbin, press the dust compartment
release button (1) and remove the dust compartment (2) (Fig. 13).
2 Remove the lter unit from the dust compartment (Fig. 14).

3 Empty the dust compartment by shaking it with your free
hand (Fig. 15).
4 If necessary, clean the dust compartment with a damp cloth.
5 If necessary, clean the lter unit. See section ‘Cleaning the lter
unit’.
6 To reattach the dust compartment, align the slot on the dust
compartment with the projection on the appliance. First attach the
bottom of the dust compartment (1). Then push the top of the dust
compartment towards the appliance (2) until it locks into place
(‘click’) (Fig. 16).
Make sure you clean the lter unit regularly.
1 Turn the outer lter anticlockwise (1) and remove it from the lter
holder (2) (Fig. 17).
Leave the inner lter attached to the lter holder.
2 Clean the inner lter and the outer lter with a brush or with a
normal vacuum cleaner if they are very dirty.
Note: If necessary , you can clean the inner lter and the outer lter in cold
or lukewarm water. Dry the inner and outer lter thoroughly before you use
the lter unit again.
3 Place the outer lter back onto the lter holder (1) and turn it
clockwise to attach it (2). (Fig. 18)
4 Put the lter unit back into the dust compartment (Fig. 19).
Note: Make sure you insert the lter unit in the correct way.
1 You can store the vacuum cleaner and the accessories on the
charger (Fig. 20).

We advise you to replace the inner lter after a prolonged period of use
or if you can no longer clean it properly.
1 Remove the lter unit from the dust compartment (Fig. 14).
2 Turn the outer lter anticlockwise (1) and remove it from the lter
holder (2) (Fig. 17).
3 Gently turn the inner lter anticlockwise (1) and remove it from
the lter holder (2) (Fig. 21).
4 Place a new inner lter on the lter holder (1) and turn it
clockwise to attach it (2) (Fig. 22).
5 Push the tip of the inner lter inwards (Fig. 23).
6 Place the outer lter on the lter holder (1) and turn it clockwise
to attach it (2). (Fig. 18)
7 Put the lter unit back into the dust compartment (Fig. 19).
Note: Make sure you insert the lter unit in the correct way.
New inner lters are available under type no. FC8035. Contact your
Philips dealer.
- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste
at the end of its life, but hand it in at an ofcial collection point for
recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 24).
- The built-in rechargeable batteries contain substances that may
pollute the environment. Remove the batteries when you discard the
appliance. Do not throw away the batteries with the normal
household waste, but hand them in at an ofcial collection point. You

can also take the appliance to a Philips service centre. The staff of this
centre will remove the batteries for you and will dispose of them in
an environmentally safe way (Fig. 25).
Only remove the rechargeable batteries if they are completely empty.
Never let the rechargeable batteries come into contact with metal.
Remove the rechargeable batteries in the following way.
1 Let the vacuum cleaner run until it stops.
Try to switch on the appliance again to check if the batteries are really
empty. If the motor starts, repeat the procedure.
2 Loosen and remove the screws. Open the vacuum cleaner (Fig. 26).
3 Put the motor unit with the batteries still attached in a large bowl
with 3 litres of water and 3 teaspoons of salt.
- Make sure the whole motor unit is immersed. Add more water and
salt according to the above proportion (1 teaspoon salt to 1 litre of
water) if needed.
- Leave the motor unit and the batteries in the bowl for 24 hours.
4 Cut the connecting wires one by one and remove the
batteries (Fig. 27).

the worldwide guarantee leaet). If there is no Consumer Care Centre in
your country, go to your local Philips dealer.

This chapter summarises the most common problems you could
encounter with the appliance. If you are unable to solve the problem with
the information below, contact the Consumer Care Centre in your
country.
Problem Solution
The appliance
does not work.
The batteries may be low. Recharge the batteries.
You may not have placed the appliance on the
charger properly. Place the appliance on the
charger properly. The charging light goes on to
indicate that the appliance is charging.
You may not have put the adapter properly in the
wall socket. Put the adapter properly in the wall
socket.
The contact points on the appliance and/or on the
charger may be dirty. Wipe them clean with a dry
cloth.
The appliance may have been switched on while it
was on the charger. Make sure the appliance is
switched off when you charge it.
If the appliance still does not work, take the
appliance to your dealer or a service centre
authorised by Philips for examination.
The charging
light does not go
on.
Make sure that the adapter is inserted properly in
the wall socket and that the appliance is switched
off.
The vacuum
cleaner does not
vacuum properly.
The dust compartment may not be attached
properly to the appliance. Attach the dust
compartment properly to the appliance.

Преди да използвате уреда, прочетете внимателно това

- Никога не всмуквайте вода или друга течност. Не всмуквайте

Ако закрепвате зарядното устройство към стената, разстоянието

Оставете уреда да се зарежда в продължение на поне 16 часа, преди

Към уреда има приложени следните принадлежности:
- накрайник с четка, за почистване на деликатни повърхности;
- тесен накрайник, за почистване на тесни места.
1 Свалете от зарядното устройство накрайника, който искате да
използвате.
2 Закрепете накрайника към мундщука на уреда (фиг. 10).
Не потапяйте прахосмукачката или зарядното устройство във вода
или каквато и да е друга течност.
Винаги изваждайте адаптера от мрежовия контакт, преди да
почиствате зарядното устройство.
1 Почиствайте външната страна на уреда и зарядното устройство
с мокра кърпа.
2 Ако контактните пластини на зарядното устройство са
замърсени, избършете ги със суха кърпа.
Погрижете се редовно да изпразвате и почиствате отделението за
прах.
За бързо изпразване на отделението за прах:

1 Натиснете бутона за освобождаване (1) и извадете
разглобяемия накрайник от уреда (2) (фиг. 11).
2 Изтръскайте съдържанието на отделението за прах в кофа за
отпадъци (фиг. 12).
1 Като държите уреда над кофа за смет, натиснете бутона за
освобождаване на отделението за прах (1) и откачете
отделението за прах (2) (фиг. 13).
2 Извадете филтърния комплект от отделението за прах (фиг. 14).
3 Изпразнете отделението за прах, като го изтръскате със
свободната си ръка (фиг. 15).
4 При необходимост почиствайте отделението за прах с влажна
кърпа.
5 При необходимост почиствайте филтърния комплект. Вж.
раздел “Почистване на филтърния комплект”.
6 За да закрепите отново отделението за прах, изравнете жлеба
на отделението с издадената част на уреда. Закачете първо
дъното на отделението за прах (1). След това натиснете
горната част на отделението към уреда (2) така, че да се
захване на мястото си (с щракване) (фиг. 16).
Погрижете се редовно да почиствате филтърния комплект.
1 Завъртете външния филтър обратно на часовниковата стрелка
(1) и го извадете от държача на филтъра (2) (фиг. 17).
Оставете вътрешния филтър закрепен към държача на филтъра.
2 Почистете вътрешния филтър и външния филтър с четка или с
обикновена прахосмукачка, ако са много замърсени.
Забележка: Ако е необходимо , можете да измиете вътрешния
филтър и външния филтър със студена или хладка вода. Изсушете

вътрешния и външния филтър добре, преди да използвате отново
филтърния комплект.
3 Монтирайте външния филтър върху държача на филтъра (1) и го
завъртете по часовниковата стрелка, за да го закрепите
(2). (фиг. 18)
4 Сложете филтърния комплект на мястото му в отделението за
прах (фиг. 19).
Забележка: Проверете дали сте поставили правилно филтърния
комплект.
1 Можете да съхранявате прахосмукачката и принадлежностите
върху зарядното устройство (фиг. 20).
Препоръчваме да сменяте вътрешния филтър след продължителен
период на употреба или ако вече не може да се почиства добре.
1 Извадете филтърния комплект от отделението за прах (фиг. 14).
2 Завъртете външния филтър обратно на часовниковата стрелка
(1) и го извадете от държача на филтъра (2) (фиг. 17).

4 Монтирайте нов вътрешен филтър върху държача на филтъра

5 Натиснете навътре върха на вътрешния филтър (фиг. 23).
