At the end of the process, the appliance emits 5 short signals and switches to standby.
Boiling water
1. In the standby mode, press 100°C. The indicator lights up.

If you want to keep the water at a set temperature after boiling, press the relevant
temperature button (40, 55, 70, 85 or 95°С). The indicator lights up.
The temperature can be set or changed in the same way during or after boiling.
3. Press and wait about 3 seconds: the indicator lights up and the water
starts to heat up.
4. When the water has boiled, depending on the settings:
• the kettle switches back into the standby mode (no indicator light);
• the kettle switches into the temperature-maintenance mode (the and tem-
perature indicators light up).

Press to interrupt the heating process or switch off the automatic temperature-
maintenance mode.
Heating water without boiling
This is the recommended mode for bottled artisan or ltered water. Water which has
not been boiled retains its natural properties, which is particularly important when
brewing premium teas.
1. In the standby mode, press . The indicator lights up.

Within 5 seconds, press the temperature button to set the water temperature (40,
55, 70, 85 or 95°С). The indicator lights up.
If the temperature is not set within 5 seconds, the appliance switches to the standby
mode (no indicator light). The temperature can also be changed during the heating
process by pressing the relevant temperature button.
3. Press or wait 5 seconds: the indicator lights up and the water starts heating
up. At the same time, the , and temperature indicators will light up.
4. When the water has been heated, the kettle goes into the temperature-mainte-
nance mode (the and temperature indicators light up).
Boil Dry Protection
The kettle switches off automatically after boiling and when it is removed from its base.
If the kettle is empty or does not have enough water inside, the dry-boil protection will
switch the kettle off automatically. When it has cooled down, the appliance will again
be ready for use.
Try to avoid activating the dry-boil protection as this can reduce the life of the appliance.
III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, unplug the kettle and leave it to cool down.
Do not clean with abrasives or chemical substances not recommended for items that
come into contact with foodstuffs.
Do not immerse the base, electric cable or plug in water: the electrical contacts must
not come into contact with water. Before using the kettle again, ensure that the electri-
cal contacts are completely dry.
Periodically clean the surface of the kettle and the base with a soft damp cloth.
A build-up of limescale may form inside the appliance over time. Use a special kitchen
limescale remover (purchased separately) and follow the usage instructions.
The limescale lter can be detached for cleaning: open the lid, carefully remove the
lter, immerse it in a lemon-water solution, then rinse and replace.
Transportation and Storage
Before repeated operation or storage completely dry all parts of the appliance. Store the as-
sembled appliance in a dry, ventilated place away from heating appliances and direct sunlight.
During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to mechanical stress, that
may lead to damage of the device and/or violation of the package integrity.
Keep the device package away from water and other liquids.
