NOTE! Batteries, included in set, are intended only for checking the appliance operational
capability. For extended operation of the appliance it is recommended to purchase a new set.
Installing the battery ensure that your hands and the unit are dry.
I I. OPERATION
1. Place the kitchen scales onto a rm, stable, and horizontal surface. These condi-
tions are obligatory if you want to obtain accurate weighing results.
2. Press TARE/ON/OFF button, The display will show a zero weight value, the indi-
cators ←0→ and
and the indicator of default measurement unit (g).
If the scales position is unstable when you turn it on, the error message UnST will
appear on the display.

Press UNIT button and select the necessary measurement unit: g/lb/oz/kg (grammes,
pounds, ounces, kilograms). Wait for the indicator to appear on the displayed.
4. If you want to weigh the product in a container, set it to the scales platform.
5. Press TARE/ON/OFF button to reset the container weight. The weight value will
be reset to zero. ←0→ indicator will light up on display.
You can also put the container on scales platform before turning it on – the weight
value will be automatically reset when the device is switched on.
If the tare weight exceeds 700 g, the
indicator is displayed.
6. Put the product into the container and place it on the scale platform, only the
product weight will be displayed, as scales were reset to zero and the container
weight is not taken into account.
Measurement interval is 1 g, beginning with minimum value 5 g.
The device is intended for weighing no more than 5 kg. When weighing more than 5
kg the ЕЕЕЕ message will appear on display.
7. The scales will be automatically disabled in 1 minute after weighing.
8. You may disconnect the scales manually: to do so press and hold TARE/ON/OFF
button for several seconds.
If the battery capacity is exhausted the low battery message will be displayed.
III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners, metal sponges, etc. Clean the platform
with a soft damp cloth and wipe dry.
Do not immerse the unit in water or wash under running water. The scale is not
dishwasher safe.
It is advised to remove the battery, if the scale is not being in use for a long time. Store
the assembled appliance in a dry, ventilated place away from heating appliances and
direct sunlight.
During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to mechanical stress, that
may lead to damage of the device and/or violation of the package integrity.
Keep the device package away from water and other liquids.

In case you didn’t manage to eliminate the defects, please, refer to the authorized
service centre.
Environmentally friendly disposal (WEEE)
The packaging, user manual and the device itself shall be taken to the ap-
plicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equip-
ment. Do not throw away the electronic waste to help protect the environment.
Old appliances must not be disposed with other household waste but must
be collected separately. Municipal disposal of recyclable wastes is free of charge. The
owners of old appliances are required to bring it to a waste facility centre. With this
little extra effort, you can help to ensure that valuable raw materials are recycled and
pollutants are treated as appropriate.
This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU — concern-
ing used electrical and electronic appliances (waste electrical and electronic equipment
WEEE). The guideline determines the framework for the return and recycling of used
appliances as applicable throughout the EU.
