CoolFun AS-15 Safety instructions
z Only connect the device as follows:
– With the connection cable supplied to a 12-V plug socket
(12-V cigarette lighter) in the vehicle
– With the adapter supplied to a 24-V plug socket (24-V ciga-
rette lighter) in the vehicle (AS-15 DC/DC only)
– With the supplied mains rectifier to the 100–240 V AC mains
supply (AS-15 DC/AC only)
z Do not pull the plug out of the cigarette lighter or the socket by
z If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced with
the cable of the same type and specifications.
z Disconnect the plug:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
– After use
z If the cooler is connected to the 12 V or the 24 V socket:
disconnect the cooler or switch it off when you turn off the
engine. Otherwise you may discharge the battery.
z On boats: if the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the
power supply has a ground fault interrupter circuit. Danger of
z Disconnect the cooling device and other power consuming de-
vices from the battery before connecting the quick charging de-
z Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corre-
sponds to that of the energy supply.
1.2 Operating the device safely
z Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
z Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
z Caution! Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the
heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other ob-
jects so that the air can circulate.
z Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
z Never immerse the device in water.
