AA-BASE Automation Appliance
Instructions for Using New DST Transition Dates
The AA-BASE firmware is designed to transition in and out of DST automatically based
on the pre-2007 scheme of DST beginning on the first Sunday in April and ending on the
last Sunday in October. Since these are no longer the correct dates, it will be necessary
for you to disable the automatic transition feature in your clock and manually change the
system time twice each year. Follow the link for information on making this change.
Procedure to disable the automatic DST transition:
From the Home page, click on Setup, then click on Time and Date
Use the pull down to select the appropriate time zone without DST. These are:
Eastern SystemV/EST5 (-5)
Central SystemV/CST6 (-6)
Mountain SystemV/MST7 (-7)
Pacific SystemV/PST8 (-8)
Alaska SystemV/YST9 (-9)
The example below is for Eastern time zone without DST.
