Please read the instructions and warnings carefully before
ensure safe and satisfactory operation of this product.
Important Safety Information
This safety and operating instruction manual should be retained for future
reference.
The radio should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no
vases, shall be placed on the radio.
Avoid installing the unit in locations described below:
Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to heat
radiating appliances
such as electric heaters.
On top of other stereo equipment that have heat radiation.
Poor ventilation or dusty places.
Places subject to constant vibration.
Humid or moist places.
No in materials such as candles should be placed on or near the
radio.
Operate the radio as instructed in the manual.
Discard used batteries in environmental friendly manner. Before turning on

Using your DAB+/FM radio
1. Turn on the unit

Press mode button repeatedly to select between DAB+ or FM mode.
3. Basic Operation
3.1 DAB+ radio mode
DAB+ radio mode receives DAB+ digital radio and displays information about
the station and programme/track as broadcast.
3.1.1 Reset and scan DAB+ station
When this is the st time you use, or if the station list is empty, the radio
automatically performs a full scan to see what stations are available. You may
also need to start a scan manually to update the list of stations for one of the
following reasons:
New stations may become available from time to time.
Stations close or can no longer be received (In the station list, invalid
stations are indicated with a question mark in front of their name).
If reception was not good for the original scan (for example the antenna
was not up), this may result in an empty or incomplete list of available
stations.
If you have poor reception of some stations causing the audio to break up,
you may wish to list only stations with good signal strength.
To do a full scan manually
In DAB+ mode, press and hold Menu/Info” button for 2 seconds until the
screen showing <Full scan>. Then, press “Enter” to preform full scan. Once a
scan is complete, the radio returns to playing the previously-selected station
ation on the station list.

3.1.2 Select stations
In DAB+ mode, press “Tune-or “Tune+” to select through the list of stations.
Stop at your preferred station, then press “Enter” It will be tuned automatically
within a second.
Note: During the search, operation of the sound level will be muted
automatically.
3.1.3 Adjust volume
Turn the “rotary” button clockwise or anti-clockwise to increase or decrease
volume respectively.
3.2 FM radio mode
FM radio mode receives analogue radio from the FM band and displays
RDS (Radio Data System) information about the station and show (where
broadcast).
While FM radio is playing, the screen shows its frequency, or if RDS information
is available, station name and any further ‘RadioText’ information is shown. If
no information is available, just the frequency and a<No RadioText>message
is shown.
3.2.1 Scan FM station
In FM mode, you can also tune the station manually. Press the “tune-” or “tune+”
button to adjust the FM frequencies with 50 kHz down or up respectively.
If press and hold the “tune-” or “tune+” button, it will scan to previous or next
station.
(for details see Scan settings in section 4.2.1 Settings).
3.2.2 Adjust volume
Turn the “rotary” button clockwise or anti-clockwise to increase or decrease
volume respectively.
4. Advance settings
The Advancesettings allow you to tailor the DAB+/FM radio with a variety of
options to suit you. To access Advance settings from any mode, press and hold
“Menu/Info” button for 2 seconds to enter the menu.

4.1 DAB+ radio mode
Under the advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to select through the list
of menu, stop at your preferred option, it will be enter or start the function
automatically within a second. The advance setting menu options are:
Full scan
Manual tune
DRC
Prune
System
4.1.1 Full scan
Under advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to Full scan through the
list of menu, then press “Enter” to select. Full scan starts automatically after 3
seconds. Once a scan is complete, the radio returns to playing the previously-
selected sta ation on the station list.
Note: if no radio station found, it shows No DAB Station. For a better
reception, extend the antenna or do the full scan again in another place.
4.1.2 Manual tune
As well as the normal method of scanning, you can also manually tune to a
particular channel/frequency. This can be useful for adjusting your antenna
to achieve the best possible reception and scanning a particular channel to
update the station list.
Under advance setting, press Tune-” or “Tune+ to Manual tune
through the list of menu, then press “Enter” to select. It enters the setting
automatically after 3 seconds. Then press Tune-or Tune+ to select a
particular channel/frequency.
The display shows a live indication of the received signal strength on the
selected frequency. Adjustments to your antenna will be manifested in the
received signal strength displayed.
4.1.3 DRC (Dynamic range compression)
This function reduces the di erence between the loudest and quietest audio
being broadcast. E ectively, this makes quiet sounds comparatively louder,
and loud sounds comparatively quieter.

of menu, then press Enter to select. It enters the setting automatically after
3 seconds. Then press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to select particular setting, it will
automatically change to new setting after 3 seconds.
Note: DRC only works if it is enabled by the broadcaster f station.
4.1.4 Prune (remove stations that are listed but unavailable)
This removes all invalid stations indicated in the station list with a ‘?’ in front of
the station name.
Under advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to Prune through the list
of menu, then press “Enter” to select. It enters the setting automatically after
3 seconds. Then press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to choose <YES> then press “Enter”
to con m removing all invalid stations, it will automatically start the process
after 3 seconds.
4.1.5 System
The System menu options are:
Time
Backlight
Language
Factory Reset
SW version
Note: as you go through the possible values, an asterisk (*) appearing to the
right-hand side of the display indicates the currently selected value for each
setting.
4.1.5.1 Time
In the Time menu, you can set the Time and Date.
Set the time by using the “Tune-or “Tune+” button and con rm by pressing
“Enter"
Set the date by using the “Tune-or “Tune+” button and con rm by pressing
“Enter"
It will be showed Time saved in the display.
In the Time menu, you can select other parameter by using the “Tune- or
“Tune+” button.

4.1.5.3 Language
The language used for display messages can be selected from below options:

Cycle through Language menu by pressing “Tune-or “Tune+” select and stop
at a particular language by pressing “Enter” , it will automatically change to new
setting after 3 seconds.
4.1.5.4 Factory reset
A factory reset clears all user de settings, replacing them with the original
default values, so time/date, preferences/settings, DAB+ station list and preset
stations are all lost.
If you select <Factory reset>, you are asked to con by selecting <YES>.
Under advance setting, press the “Tune-” or “Tune+” button to select “Factory
reset” through the list of menu, you are asked to con by selecting <YES>.
4.1.5.5 SW version
This displays the current software version.
Cycle through the menu, press Tune-or “Tune+” button to “SW version”
through the list of menu, then press “Enter” to select, it will automatically show
the software version on the LCD after 3 seconds.

4.2 FM radio mode
Under the advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to select through the list
of menu, stop at your preferred option, it will be enter or start the function
automatically within a second. The advance setting menu options are:
Scan setting
Audio setting

4.2.1 Scan setting
By default, FM scans stop at any available station (All stations). This may
result in poor quality audio from weak stations.
Options: All stations | Strong stations only
Press “Tune-” or Tune+” then press “Enter” to select a particular option in
Scan setting, it will automatically change to new setting after 3 seconds.

4.2.2 Audio setting

By default, all stereo stations are reproduced in stereo. For weak stations,
this may result in poor quality audio. The audio quality can be improved using
mono.
Options: Stereo allowed | Forced mono
Press “Tune-” or “Tune+” then press “Enterto select a particular option in
Audio setting, it will automatically change to new setting after 3 seconds.

Hvordan bruke din DAB+ /FM radio
1. Skru på radioen
Trykk på for å skru på, trykk igjen på for å skru radioen av.

3. Grunnleggende bruksinformasjon
3.1 DAB+ radio modus
I DAB+ modus mottas og gjengis DAB digitalradiosendinger og informasjon
om stasjonsnavn og sangtitler informasjon, avhengig av hva kringkasteren
sender ut.
3.1.1 Reset og søk etter DAB stasjoner

gjennomfører radioen automatisk et fullstendig søk etter områdets

Nye stasjoner har blitt tilgjengelig i området.
Stasjoner har lagt ned eller kan ikke lenger mottas på DAB. (I stasjonslisten
er utilgjengelige stasjoner markert med et spørsmålstegn foran navnet).
Dersom mottaksforholdene var for dårlige da du foretok ditt første søk (for
eksempel hvis du glemte å trekke ut antennen), kan dette resultere i en
tom eller ufullstendig stasjonsliste.
Dersom du har dårlige mottaksforhold for noen stasjoner og får avbrudd i
lydgjengivelsen fra disse, kan du ønIske å gjennomføre et nytt søk for å
en liste med kun stasjoner med godt signalmottak.
Start et fullstendig søk manuellt.
I DAB+-modus, trykk og hold på "Menu/Info" knappen for 2 sekunder til
skjermen viser <full skanning>. Deretter trykker du "Enter" for å starte søket.
Når søket er gjennomført vil radioen tilbake til å spille den tidligere valgte
kanalen eller den første stasjonen i stasjonslisten.
3.1.2 Velg stasjoner
I DAB+-modus, trykk “Tune-” eller “Tune+” knappen for å velge blant alle
tilgjengelige stasjoner i listen. Stopp når du ser stasjonsnavnet du vil høre

deretter trykke "Enter", vil det være innstilt automatisk i løpet av et sekund.
Merk: Når du søker etter kanaler vil lydnivået automatisk bli dempet.
3.1.3 Justèr lydstyrke
Vri den roterende hjulet med eller mot klokkeretning for å øke eller dempe
lydstyrken.
3.2 FM radio modus
I FM-radio modus mottas og gjengis analog radio fra FM-båndet og RDS
(Radio Data System) informasjon vises i displayet (der kringkaster sender slik
informasjon).
Ved FM-lytting viser displayet aktuell frekvens eller RDS-informasjon, hvis
tilgjengelig (feks stasjonsnavn og annen ‘RadioText’ informasjon. Dersom ingen
informasjon er tilgjengelig vises kun frekvensen og en tekstbeskjed som sier
Ingen radiotekst.
3.2.1 Søk etter FM-stasjoner
I FM-modus kan du også søke etter stasjoner manuelt. Trykk Tune-” eller
“Tune+” knappen for å justere FM-frekvensen med 50 kHz opp eller ned.
Hvis du trykker og holder "tune-" eller "tune+" -knappen, det vil skanne til
forrige eller neste stasjon. (les mer om dette under søkeinnstillinger i seksjon
4.2.1 Innstillinger).
3.2.2 Justèr lydstyrke
Vri roterende hjulet med eller mot klokkeretning for å øke eller dempe
lydstyrken.
4. Avanserte innstillinger
Avanserte innstillinger tillater deg å tilpasse din DAB+/FM radio med et utvalg
muligheter, slik det passer deg best. For å tilgang til avanserte innstillinger
fra hver modus må du trykke på og holde inne "Menu/Info" knappen i omtrent 2
sekunder. Du kommer da inn i menyen for avanserte innstillinger.
4.1 DAB+-modus
