flammable gas R32.
Before install the appliance,

first.
Before use the appliance,
read owner’s manual first.
Before repair the appliance,
read service manual first.
The function of the heat pump is based on a special refrigerant circulating in the system.
The used refrigerant is the fluoride R32, which is specially cleaned. The refrigerant is flam-
mable and inodorous. Furthermore, it can lead to explosion under certain conditions. But
the flammability of the refrigerant is very low. It can be ignited only by fire.
Compared to common refrigerants, R32 is a nonpolluting refrigerant with no harm to the
ozone layer. The influence upon the greenhouse effect is also lower. R32 has got very
good thermodynamic features which lead to a really high energy efficiency. The units
therefore need a less filling.

Description of terms
COP
COP (Coefficient of Performance) is the definition of the heat factor of the heat pump. It in-
dicates the ratio between the added input and the delivered heat output of the heat pump.
If the heat pump heats the indoor air with an effect of 4000 Watts, while the power con-
sumption of the heat pump itself is 1000 Watts, the heating factor is 4.
The energy efficiency varies based on the outdoor climate.
SCOP
SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance) is the definition of the heat factor of the heat
pump during a full year. It indicates the ratio between the added input and the delivered
heat output of the heat pump throughout a full year.
If the heat pump heats the indoor air with an effect of 5000 Watts, while the power con-
sumption of the heat pump itself is 1000 Watts, the seasonal heating factor is 5.
SCOP gives a better picture of the heat pump's efficiency than COP, because it takes into
account temperature fluctuations in hot and cold periods throughout an entire year.
The SCOP can be found on the energy label and will vary based on geographical areas
that represents warmer, colder or average outdoor temperatures.
SEER
SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is the is the definition of the cooling factor of the
heat pump during a full cooling season.
It indicates the ratio between the added input and the delivered cooling output of the heat
pump during a cooling season.
The SEER value can be found on the energy label.
