Ouman Oy recommends that 24 V and 230 V connections are not used in
the same module. If the same module includes 24 V and 230 V connections,
external cables must be installed in such way the loose cable doesn
`t cau-
se a risk. ( E.g. the risk can be avoided by binding the cables or using cable
duct near the terminals to ensure cables stay in the connector).
Cable stripping length 10 mm.
Terminal resistor and biasing resistors
The device uses a galvanically isolated RS-485 network as a physical
interface. Only one device at a time can write in to the network, the other
devices are listening. For this reason there are situations when no device
writes in to the network but they all are listening. The biasing resistors
ensure that the network remains stable in this situation. This is especial-
ly important if the network is long and if there is external interference.
Terminal resistors and biasing resistors must be taken into use in two
(and only two) devices per network. The devices in question must be po-
sitioned at both ends of the network
If this device is first or last device in the network, take the resistors into use.

Bus speed Bus speed is read from Modbus reg-
ister. The device automatically finds
the bit rate, when you set the switch to
position 1 and return it back to position
0. Supported bus speeds are: 9600,
19200, 38400, 57600 and 115200.
