Quick Start Guide: Franklin T9
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Hotspot may need to be charged before first use and regularly after that.
2. It normally takes 3~5 hours to fully charge the battery.
3. The battery discharges faster as additional devices connect to your hotspot.
4. Battery life depends on the network, signal strength, temperature, features,
and active connection time.
5. It is normal for batteries to gradually wear down and require longer charging
time.

To connect to your hot spot:
1. Open the box your Mobile Hotspot came in
and remove contents.
2. Plug the charger into the wall

3. Plug the charging cable into the charging
port on the hot spot
4. Hold the Power key for 3 seconds until all
LED indicators light up blue.
5. Turn on your chromebook - depending on
the model this may be on the side or the
keyboard.

6. Connect your chromebook to your Mobile
Hotspot.
a. In the bottom right corner,
click on the time.
b. Select Not Connected .
Note: If you see your Wi-Fi
network name and signal
strength, your Chromebook is
already connected to Wi-Fi.
c. Press the Power key on the
Hotspot until you see
“Franklin T9 XXXX”. This will
be our network name. Click on
that name from the list on the
Chromebook.
d. Enter the password. This will
be shown when you press the
power key again. Click on
connect.
