4 Cleanng and Mantenance

CAUTION
Cleanng and user mantenance
should not be performed by chld-
ren wthout supervson.
•The surface may be damaged due to abrasve
or rubbng cleanng agents. Never use abrasve
and rubbng cleanng agents. Acqure the clea-
nng agents and protectve materals sutable
for your applance form your authorsed servce.
The surface of the applance and the controllers
are senstve to scratchng.
•Clean the surfaces wth a soft and damp cloth,
dshwashng lqud or a soft glass cleanng
agent. Soften the dred and adhered drt wth a
damp cloth. Do not scratch out!
•Dry cloths, sponges that may scratch, materals
that requre rubbng, sand and the other effec-
tve cleanng agents contanng mneral water,
acd or chlorde are not sutable.
•Clean the stanless steel surfaces only n the d-
recton of grndng.
•Do not use stanless steel cleanng agent or wet
cloths for control unts. Cleanng the metal ol fl-
ters Used metallc ol flters hold the humdty
generated n the ktchen and the oly partcles
contaned wthn the steam. In case of regular
use (1 to 2 hours per day), clean the metal ol fl-
ters about once every 3 months.
•Do not use over-effectve, acdfed or corrosve
cleanng agents.
•For the cleanng of the metal ol flters, use a
damp cloth to clean holdng parts of metal ol
flters nsde the applance.
•You can clean the metal ol flters n the dsh-
washer or by hand.
•Do not apply spray cleanng agents drectly on
the applance.
•Do not put flammable and/or heavy decoratve
tems on the applance.
4.1 Washng n the Dshwasher
•In case of washng n the dshwasher, slght ds-
coloraton may occur. Ths does not affect the
functon of the metal ol flter.
•Do not wash heavly soled metal ol flters to-
gether wth the dshes.
•Place the metal ol flters n the dshwasher loo-
sely or freely. Metal ol flters should be placed n
the dshwasher wthout beng jammed.
4.2 Washng By Hand
•You can use a specal ol dssolvng agent for
stubborn drt. You can get ths agent from the
authorsed sales center.
•Soften the metal ol flter n hot water conta-
nng dshwashng lqud.
•Use a brush for cleanng and wat for the lqud
on the metal ol flter to be draned well. Rnse
the flters well after cleanng.
•Techncal specfcatons and ths manual may be
changed wthout pror notce.
•Ths applance comples wth the Regulaton for
Supervson of the Waste Electrc and Electronc
Equpment.
•Ths hood s desgned to be used over the hob.
Make sure that the wall can bear the weght of
the hood. Cost of crushng, cuttng and smlar
procedures to be carred out on the wall or cab-
net durng nstallaton should be covered by the
consumer. The hood may be used wth a flue
system that dscharges the ar, or wthout a flue
(by attachng the carbon flter). Pay attenton
to the matters that may be encountered before
or durng the nstallaton. Installaton should be
performed by the authorsed servce agent. Ins-
tallaton should be carred out by an authorsed
specalst who has knowledge of ventlaton.
Servce lfe of the applance dentfed by the
Mnstry of Industry (perod of avalablty for
the spare parts requred for the performance
of functons of the applance) s 10 (ten) years.
•Your applance must be kept n ts orgnal
packagng to avod damage to ts components
durng handlng and transportaton.
•Keep the applance n ts normal poston durng
handlng.
•Do not drop the applance and protect t aganst
damage durng transportaton. Warranty does
not cover the faults and damages occurred
durng transportaton after delvery of the
applance to the customer.
