Read the following “SAFETY PRECAUTIONS” carefully before installation.
Before attempting to control / operate this air-conditioner product via wireless
communication from a remote location, make sure to check the installation of
the appliance and its surrounding area, and, be wary of any person(s) within
the vicinity.
Electrical work must be installed by a licensed electrician. Be sure to use the
correct rating and main circuit for the model to be installed.
The caution items stated here must be followed because these important
contents are related to safety. The meaning of each indication used is as
below. Incorrect installation due to ignoring of the instruction will cause harm
or damage, and the seriousness is classifi ed by the following indications.
Please provide this setup guide to the user after installation. Instruct user
to keep it with the instruction manuals of the air conditioner in safe location.

There is a burning smell

installer.
CAUTION
The adaptor is indoor use only. Do not set up outside or in
unsecured locations.
- It may provide an entry point for unauthorised network access.
Do not set up in locations exposed to direct sunlight, where the
temperature may exceed 45°C or go below -5°C.
- This can cause deformation.
Do not install in locations where oils are used a lot or where steam
or sulphurous gases are emitted.
- This can cause loss of performance or deformation.
Before connecting wires and cables, discharge any static electricity.
- Not doing so may cause malfunction.
Check the following requirements in advanced (At home):
- There should be no abnormality in the air conditioner such as change
of airflow. Ensure no object(s) which may be displaced easily due to
the airflow blowing directly at it. The fallen or moved object(s) might
lead to danger such as fire, injury etc.
- At all times, use the in-house remote control when there is a possibility
of person(s) (such as infant, children, disabled person(s), elderly or
sickly person(s)) who are incapable of controlling the temperature
themselves and rely on the pre-set confi guration of the air-conditioner.
The rise and drop in the temperature due to remote operation might
cause the occupant(s) to experience discomfort and/or disrupt their
daily routine.
Plant(s) and animal(s) are likely to be affected by sudden temperature
adjustments.
Check the following requirements before operating the air
conditioner from a remote location:
- Do inform the person(s) in the vicinity of the area being air-conditioned
that you will remotely control the air conditioner operation and settings.
This is to avoid any possibility of serious effects on person(s)
either due to being taken by surprise or due to sudden changes in
temperature (from comfort to cold or vice versa).
(This may cause harm to human body due to sudden changes of
outside temperature and room temperature.
Temperature adjustment can be operated by remote control)
If the main display of the Panasonic Comfort Cloud APP does not
reflect the status of the operation, please use the in-house remote
control to operate the air-conditioner.
- As the APP uses network communication, there may be times
when remote operation is not possible due to communication and/or
network failures (such as Panasonic Cloud server downtime, telecom
providers’ server downtime, WIFI connectivity etc.). In the event of
such failure(s), please use the in- house remote control to operate
the air-conditioner.

Before Installing the Adaptor
Requires a Smartphone that is iOS/Android compatible;
The Network adaptor (adaptor) is designed specifi cally as a terminal for the
“Panasonic Comfort Cloud”;
Do not attach the adaptor to metal as wireless performance will be adversely
affected;
The adaptor recommended to be installed outside of the indoor unit. (It needs to
be accessed when connecting it or when there is a problem.);
The Wireless LAN network coverage must include the air conditioner installation
location;
Do connect the Wireless LAN to a compatible Panasonic Air Conditioner with a
connectivity interface port.

CAUTION Shut off the power supply when installing this adaptor.
1. Select a location to install the adaptor.
(Adaptor can be installed on the wall near the indoor unit or embedded into indoor unit.)
2. Arrange the cable.

Embedded Installation into indoor unit
- Install the adaptor into the indoor unit and guide the cable follow the tunnel or
ribs into the control board area, similar as shown in the diagram.
Use the cable tie (included in the package) to tie excessive cables
together when necessary.
3. Fix the cord clamp with a screw.
4. Connect the cable to the CN-CNT connector at the indoor unit.
Take note each indoor unit CN-CNT connector location might be different.

Connecting Network
Usage precautions
Before using this product, be sure to read all the precautions in this manual for proper
use. The Company is not liable for any defects and damages, unless legal liability is
recognized, in regards to failures, incurred by use of this product that occur through
incorrect use or during use by yourself or a third party.
Security Measure
Wireless LAN uses radio waves to exchange information. Therefore, there is a risk
of unauthorized access.
Initialize the APP settings on the product prior to disposal or transferring to a third party.
Establish network connection to the internet via Wireless mode.
1. Turn on the power supply to the indoor unit.
- The Power LED lights (green).
- The Status LED blinking (green).

2. Download and install the “Panasonic Comfort Cloud”.
3. Follow the instruction of the app to complete the
installation setup. Refer to next page.

Starting “Panasonic Comfort Cloud”
Use a Smartphone that is iOS/Android compatible.
User interface image may change without notifi cation.
There is no charge for using this application. However, other charges may be
incurred for connection and operation.
Updates to the service may mean there are changes to the design of the screen
and display.
1. Login to the “Panasonic Comfort Cloud”
Login with your Panasonic ID and password.
Panasonic ID can be registered free from the link on the
page or at the following URL.
(https://csapl.pcpf.panasonic.com/Account/Register 001)
2. Connection Guide
i. At My Home screen, tap “+” to add new product.
ii. Select the product that you want to add.
iii. Tap “Start” to begin the connection setup.

iv. Tap “Next” after confi rming the POWER LED of the
network adaptor is ON.
v. If you are the fi rst user (administrator) to operate the
air conditioner via this application, reset the network
adaptor with a pin and tap “Next”.
vi. Choose the button that matches the status of LINK
LED on the network adaptor.
vii. Tap on the preferred connection setup mode.
- To connect with WPS mode, proceed to instruction
3.1 (For router that supports WPS)
- To connect with AP mode, proceed to instruction 3.2
(For router that does not support WPS)
3.1 Connect with WPS Mode
i. Press the WPS button on the router to establish
connection.
ii. Tap “Next” after the router is ready for connection.
iii. Press and hold the “SETUP” button on the network
adaptor for 5 seconds.
iv. Release the “SETUP” button when both STATUS
LED and LINK LED start to blink. Tap “NEXT”.
v. Wait until LINK LED is ON indicates the connection
setup is complete. Tap “NEXT” and proceed to
instruction 4.

3.2 Connect with AP Mode
* (For Android 5.0 and above & iOS 11 and above only)
i. Press and hold the “SETUP” button on the network
adaptor for 10 seconds.
ii. Release the “SETUP” button when the STATUS LED
starts to blink in orange.
iii. Tap “NEXT”.
iv. Tap “JOIN” to connect “Panasonic-CZ-T-wirelessAP”
network.
SSID:Router_SSID1
v. Enter the password of the selected wireless router
and continue.
vi. The LINK LED will light up when the network adaptor
successfully connects to the server.
Tap “NEXT” and proceed to instruction 4.
* During network adaptor connecting to wireless
router, STATUS LED and LINK LED will blink
simultaneously.

4. Setup completion
i. Input the Device ID. Device ID is written at name
plate attached to the network adaptor or label
attached on the packaging.
ii. Set the password for the network adaptor.
iii. Tap “Register” to complete the setup.
iv. You can name the air conditioner unit to help you
identify it.
Note
Confirm the APP’s screen connectivity status before or during operation, if
the status is not reflected, please use in-house remote control to operate.

User's manual can be found under Menu tab.
The “Panasonic Comfort Cloud” is connected to the
network adaptor and ready for use.

When the power LED does not light up
(no power supply to the adaptor)

Check the connection of the cable.
The connection between your device and a client through wireless network
cannot be established.
Ensure that the wireless network function is enabled.
Refresh the network list and select the correct SSID.
Check the IP address, and ensure that your client can automatically obtain
an IP address.
Enter the correct network key (wireless network password) when you connect
with AP mode.

Factory reset the device and add back the device. The device factory reset

Information Firmware Update Function
This product has functionality for connecting to the Panasonic fi rmware update
server over the Internet to automatically update the device fi rmware to the latest
version.
To update the fi rmware, the device will do check, once per day, whether its fi rmware
is the latest version after power up. And if an update is required, the update is
applied and the device restarts automatically. Operations are not possible while the
device is being restarted (which takes about 1-5 minutes).

AMARAN
Peralatan ini bukan untuk kegunaan individu (termasuk kanak-
kanak) yang kurang keupayaan zikal, deria atau mental, atau kurang
pengalaman dan pengetahuan, melainkan mereka diawasi atau
diberi arahan tentang cara penggunaan peralatan oleh orang yang
bertanggungjawab atas keselamatan mereka. Kanak-kanak harus
diawasi bagi memastikan mereka tidak bermain dengan alat ini.
Pemasangan hanya boleh dilakukan oleh pihak penjual atau pemasang.

Pastikan kabel dipasang dengan betul supaya ia tidak terjejas dengan
daya luaran.
- Ia boleh menyebabkan kepanasan melampau yang boleh mengakibatkan
nyalaan api.
Berhenti menggunakannya sebaik sahaja anda menyedari apa-apa
masalah atau kerosakan dan putuskan bekalan elektrik ke perkakas
yang disambungkan.

AWAS
Penyesuai adalah untuk kegunaan dalaman sahaja. Jangan pasang
di luar atau di lokasi yang tidak selamat.
- Ia boleh menjadi titik entri bagi capaian rangkaian tanpa kebenaran.
Jangan pasang di lokasi yang terdedah kepada cahaya matahari secara
terus yang mungkin mempunyai suhu melebihi 45°C atau serendah -5°C.
- Tindakan ini boleh menyebabkan perubahan bentuk.
Jangan pasang di lokasi yang berminyak, berwap atau tercemar dengan
gas sulfurus.
- Tindakan ini boleh menjejaskan prestasi atau menyebabkan perubahan
bentuk.
Sebelum menyambungkan wayar dan kabel, lepaskan apa-apa bekalan
elektrik statik.
- Ia boleh menyebabkan kerosakan.
Periksa keperluan berikut lebih awal (Di rumah):
- Sepatutnya tiada keabnormalan dalam penyaman udara seperti perubahan
aliran udara. Pastikan tiada objek yang mungkin berpindah dengan mudah
disebabkan oleh aliran udara meniup secara langsung. Objek yang jatuh
atau bergerak mungkin membawa kepada bahaya seperti kebakaran,
kecederaan dll.
- Pada setiap masa, gunakan alat kawalan jauh dalaman apabila terdapat
kemungkinan orang (seperti bayi, kanak-kanak, orang kurang upaya, orang
tua atau orang sakit) yang tidak dapat mengawal suhu itu sendiri dan
bergantung kepada konfi gurasi pra-tetapan penyaman udara.
Kenaikan dan penurunan suhu akibat operasi jauh mungkin menyebabkan
penghuni mengalami ketidakselesaan dan/atau mengganggu rutin harian
mereka.
Tanaman dan haiwan mungkin terjejas oleh pelarasan suhu secara tiba-tiba.
Periksa keperluan berikut sebelum mengendalikan penyaman udara
dari lokasi jauh:
- Beritahu orang di sekitar kawasan yang berpenyaman udara bahawa anda
akan mengawal operasi dan tetapan penyaman udara dari jauh.
Ini adalah untuk mengelakkan sebarang kemungkinan kesan serius ke atas
orang yang disebabkan oleh kejutan atau akibat perubahan suhu secara
tiba-tiba (daripada selesa hingga sejuk atau sebaliknya).
(Ini boleh menyebabkan kemudaratan kepada badan manusia disebabkan
oleh perubahan suhu luar dan suhu bilik secara tiba-tiba. Pelarasan suhu
boleh dikendalikan oleh alat kawalan jauh)
Jika paparan utama Panasonic Comfort Cloud APP tidak menunjukkan
status operasi, sila gunakan alat kawalan jauh dalaman untuk
mengendalikan penyaman udara.
- Memandangkan APP menggunakan komunikasi rangkaian, mungkin
terdapat waktu apabila operasi jauh tidak mungkin disebabkan oleh
komunikasi dan/atau kegagalan rangkaian (seperti masa henti pelayan
Panasonic Cloud, masa henti pelayan pembekal telekom, sambungan
WIFI dll). Jika berlaku kegagalan tersebut, sila gunakan alat kawalan jauh
dalaman untuk mengendalikan penyaman udara.
