Installation
Thelight fitting can be installed in one of severalways. Note: If theceiling light is
connected to adimmer switch, it must be anLED dimmer or adimmer designed to
be used with anelectronic transformer.
A) Mounted onto arecessed ceiling pattress
Warning: Always turn off thepower before beginning theinstallation.
1. Themounting plate is prepared for attachment to aceiling pattress. Measure
thedistance between thescrews in theceiling pattress and drill corresponding holes
in themountingplate. Themounting plate already has mounting hole markings (5) for
themost common ceiling pattresses. Makeahole for thescrews in thewashers (9).
2. Pullthepower supply cable through one of thegrommets (4). Fitthegasket (2)
onto thelight fitting (1).
3. Screwthemounting plate
to theceiling pattress using
thewashers (9) asshown.
5. Makesure that thegasket (2) is fitted correctly
and that thecables don’t get crushed between
themounting plate and thelight fitting.
6. Pushthelight fitting onto themounting plate so
that themarkings (7) line up, then twist thelight
fitting anticlockwise until it locks intoplace.
4. Striptheend of thepower cable as shown and
connect it to theterminal block (6). Bluewire
to N and phase wire to L. Thelight fitting is
rated protection class II and does not require
asafety connection to electricalearth.
