1 Veiligheid

In deze handleiding worden in verband met veiligheid de volgende
waarschuwingsaanduidingen gebruikt:

Geeft aan dat er een groot potentieel gevaar aanwezig is dat ernstig
letsel of de dood tot gevolg kan hebben.

2 Inleiding
Deze handleiding geeft richtlijnen voor het gebruik van het Vetus
DBPPJA bedieningspaneel.
Eigenmachtige wijzigingen sluiten de aansprakelijkheid van de
fabriek voor de daaruit voortvloeiende schade uit.
• Zorg tijdens gebruik voor een correcte accuspanning.
WaarschuWinG
Werk nooit aan de elektrische installatie terwwijl het systeem
onder spanning staat.

3 Bediening
3.1 Inschakelen van een paneel
Schakel de accu-hoofdschakelaar in. Het systeem is nu 'stand-by'.
• Druk op de ‘AAN/UIT’ knop.

LED (1) knippert blauw en u hoort een repeterend signaal, di-di-di
( . . . ).

innen 6 seconden moet de ‘AAN/UIT’ knop voor de tweede
keer worden ingedrukt. De LED (1) zal nu aan blijven; de zoemer be-
vestigd met een signaal, dahdidah (- . -), dat het paneel gereed is voor
gebruik.
Indien meerdere panelen zijn aangesloten zal de LED (1) op de niet
ingeschakelde panelen knipperen (elke seconde twee korte blauwe
itsen, hartslag).
Om de bediening naar een ander bedieningspaneel over te nemen,
voer bovenstaande handelingen uit op het paneel dat wordt over-
genomen.

3.2 Gebruik
Let op
Maak u vertrouwd met de bediening van het paneel.
Doe dit op een veilige locatie!
Gebruik het paneel voor de bediening van de boeg- en hekschroef,
in beginsel, alléén op lage snelheid of tijdens het manoeuvreren van
de boot.
De stuwkracht begint bij ongeveer 25% en neemt proportioneel toe
tot de maximale waarde naarmate de joystick verder naar de uiterste
stand wordt bewogen.
Beweeg de joystick rustig in de gewenste vaartrichting.
Corrigeer, indien nodig, vanuit de middenstand de vaarrichting door
de joystick iets naar boven of onder te bewegen.
Gebruik de draaiknop om de boot om zijn as te laten draaien.
3.3 Hold functie
Gebruik de HOLD functie voor
het tijdelijk afmeren van uw
boot. Doe dit rustig en zorg er-
voor dat uw boot niet bescha-
digd, bijvoorbeeld door het ge-
bruik van stootwillen.
• Manoeuvreer de boot tegen
het opject waaraan u wilt afmeren.
• Laat de boeg- en hekschroef met voldoende kracht draaien zodat
de boot tegen de afmeerplaats wordt aangedrukt.
• Verplaats de joystick niet. Druk nu op de HOLD knop.
• Laat de joystick los.
Deactiveer de HOLD functie door:
- Op de ‘HOLD’ knop te drukken, of
- Op de ‘AAN/UIT’ knop te drukken, of
- De joystick te in tegenovergestelde richting te bewegen.
3.4 Uitschakelen paneel
Houdt de ‘AAN/UIT’ knop ingedrukt totdat alle LEDs uit zijn en u het
signaal, di-di-di-dah-dah ( . . . - - ) hoort. Het bedieningspaneel is uit-
geschakeld.
• Schakel de accu-hoofdschakelaar uit indien u van boord gaat.

2 Introduction
This manual gives guidelines for the use of the VETUS DBPPJA con-
trol panel.
Unauthorised modications shall exclude the liability of the man-
ufacturer for any resulting damage.
• During use ensure the correct battery voltage is available.

Never work on the electrical system while it is energized.

3 Operation
3.1 Switching on a panel
Switch on the main switch. The system is now in ‘stand-by’.
• Press the "ON / OFF" button.
LED (1) (blue) will ash
and you hear a repeating signal, di-di-di (...).
The "ON / OFF" button must be pressed a second time within 6 sec-
onds. The LED (1) will stay on and the buzzer will conrm that the
panel is ready for use by giving the signal dahdidah (- . -).
If multiple panels are connected, LED (1) on the panels which have
not been switched ON will ash (every second two short blue ashes,
heartbeat)
To take over the control to another control panel, perform the above
operations on the panel you want to activate.

3.2 Use

Familiarise yourself with the operation of the panel.
Do this in a safe location!
In principle, use the bow and stern thruster control panel only at low
speed or when manoeuvring the boat.
Move the joystick in the direction in which the boat is required to
move.
The thrust starts at about 25% and increases proportionally to the
maximum value as the joystick is moved further to its outermost po-
sition.
Gently move the joystick in the desired sailing direction. If necessary,
correct the direction, from the mid position, by moving the joystick
slightly up or down.
Use the rotary knob to turn the boat around its axis.
3.3 Hold function
Use the HOLD function to tem-
porarily moor your boat. Do this
carefully and make sure that
your boat is not damaged, for
example by using fenders.
• Manoeuvre the boat against
the object to be moored.
• Run the bow and stern thrusters with sucient force to press the
boat against the mooring.
• Do not move the joystick. Now press the HOLD button.
• Release the joystick.
Deactivate the HOLD function by:
- Pressing the 'HOLD' button, or
- Pressing the 'ON/OFF' button, or
- Moving the joystick in the opposite direction.
3.4 Switching OFF a panel
Keep pressing the "ON / OFF" button until all LEDs are o and you
hear the signal, di-di-di-dah-dah (... - -). The control panel is switched
o.
• Turn o the battery main switch when leaving the boat.

2 Einleitung
Dieses Handbuch enthält Richtlinien für die Verwendung die Bedien-
tafel VETUS DBPPJA.
Nicht genehmigte Änderungen schließen die Haftung des Herstel-
lers für daraus resultierende Schäden aus.
• Stellen Sie während des Betriebs sicher, dass die richtige Batteries-
pannung vorhanden ist.

3.1 Bedientafel einschalten
Schalten Sie den Hauptschalter ein. Das System ist nun betriebsbe-
reit - “Stand-by”.
• Drücken Sie den „EIN-/AUS“-Knopf.
LED (1) blinkt Blau und Sie hören ein wiederkehrendes Tonsignal,
di-di-di ( . . . ).
Der „EIN-/AUS“-Knopf muss innerhalb von 6 Sekunden
ein zweites Mal gedrückt werden. Die LED (1) (blau)bleibt eingeschal-
tet und der Summer bestätigt, dass die Bedientafel mit dem Signal
dadida (-.-) betriebsbereit ist.
Sind mehrere Bedientafeln angeschlossen, blinkt die LED (1) auf den
nicht eingeschalteten Bedientafeln (jede Sekunde zwei kurze blaue
Blitze, wie Herzschlag).
Um die Bedienung auf eine andere Bedientafel zu übernehmen, füh-
ren Sie die vorgenannten Schritte auf der Bedientafel aus, die über-
nommen wird.

Machen Sie sich mit der Bedienung des Bedienfeldes vertraut.

In principle, use the bow and stern thruster control panel only at low
speed or when manoeuvring the boat.
Bewegen Sie den Steuerknüppel in die Richtung, in die sich das Boot
bewegen soll.
Der Schub beginnt bei etwa 25 % und erhöht sich proportional zum
Maximalwert, wenn der Joystick weiter in seine äußerste Position be-
wegt wird.
Bewegen Sie den Steuerknüppel vorsichtig in die gewünschte Fahrt-
richtung. Falls erforderlich, korrigieren Sie die Richtung von der mitt-
leren Position aus, indem Sie den Joystick leicht nach oben oder un-
ten bewegen.
Verwenden Sie den Drehknopf, um das Boot um seine Achse zu drehen.
3.3 Haltefunktion
Verwenden Sie die Haltefunkti-
on, um Ihr Boot vorübergehend
festzumachen. Gehen Sie dabei
vorsichtig vor und achten Sie da-
rauf, dass Ihr Boot nicht beschä-
digt wird, z. B. durch die Verwen-
dung von Fendern.
• Manövrieren Sie das Boot gegen das zu vertäuende Objekt.
• Betätigen Sie das Bug- und Heckstrahlruder mit ausreichender
Kraft, um das Boot gegen den Liegeplatz zu drücken.
• Bewegen Sie den Joystick nicht. Drücken Sie nun die Haltefunk-
tion.
• Lassen Sie den Steuerknüppel los.
Deaktivieren Sie die Haltefunktion durch:
- Drücken Sie die 'Halte'-Taste, oder
- Drücken Sie die Taste "EIN/AUS", oder
- Bewegen Sie den Joystick in die entgegengesetzte Richtung.
3.4 Ausschalten einer Bedientafel
Halten Sie den „EIN-/AUS“-Knopf gedrückt, bis alle LEDs aus sind und
Sie das Tonsignal, di-di-di-dah-dah ( . . . - - ) hören. Die Bedientafel ist
ausgeschaltet.
• Beim Verlassen des Schies den Hauptschalter ausschalten.

2 Introduction
Ce manuel fournit les lignes directrices pour l’utilisation le tableau de
commande VETUS DBPPJA.
Les modications non autorisées excluront la responsabilité du fa-
bricant pour tout dommage en résultant.
• Lors de l'utilisation, assurez-vous que la tension de batterie cor-
recte est disponible.

3 Utilisation
3.1 Basculement depuis l’un des panneaux
Enclenchez le commutateur principa. Le système est maintenant «en
veille».
• Appuyez sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT.
Le témoin LED (1) clignote en bleu et un signal sonore répétitif se
fait entendre,
«
di-di-di
»
( . . . ).
Le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT doit être
pressé une seconde fois dans les 6 secondes. La DEL (1) (bleu) reste
allumée et l’alarme conrme que le panneau est prêt à l’emploi en
donnant le signal « dahdidah » (-.-).
Si plusieurs tableaux sont branchés, le témoin LED (1) du tableau qui
n'est pas activé se mettra à clignoter (toutes les secondes deux courts
clignotements bleus, rythme cardiaque).
Pour basculer le contrôle sur un autre tableau de commande, eec-
tuez les manipulations suivantes à partir du tableau de commande
qui sera activé.

3.2 Utilisation
attention
Familiarisez-vous avec le fonctionnement du panneau.
Faites-le dans un endroit où la sécurité est assurée!
En général, n'utilisez le panneau de commande des propulseurs
d'étrave et de poupe qu'à faible vitesse ou lors des manœuvres du
bateau.
Déplacez le manche en suivant la direction dans laquelle le bateau
doit se déplacer.
La poussée commence à environ 25 % et augmente proportionnelle-
ment jusqu'à la valeur maximale lorsque le manche est déplacé vers
sa position la plus extérieure.
Déplacez doucement le manche à balai vers la direction de naviga-
tion souhaitée. Corrigez éventuellement la direction à partir de la
position médiane en déplaçant légèrement le joystick vers le haut
ou vers le bas.
Utilisez le bouton rotatif pour faire tourner le bateau autour de son axe.
3.3 Fonction Hold
Utilisez la fonction HOLD pour
amarrer temporairement votre
bateau. Faites-le avec précaution
et veillez à ne pas endommager
votre bateau en utilisant par
exemple les défenses.
• Manœuvrez le bateau contre
l'objet à amarrer.
• Faites fonctionner les propulseurs d'étrave et de poupe avec su-
samment de force pour appuyer le bateau contre l'amarre.
• Ne déplacez pas le joystick. Appuyez maintenant sur le bouton
HOLD.
• Relâchez le manche.
Désactivez la fonction HOLD en
- appuyant sur le bouton 'HOLD', ou
- appuyant sur le bouton " MARCHE/ARRÊT", ou
- déplaçant le manche vers la direction inverse.
3.4 Extinction d’un panneau
Maintenez le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT enfoncé jusqu'à ce que les
témoins LED s'éteignent et que vous entendiez le signal sonore, «
di-di-di-dah-dah » ( . . . - - ) . Le tableau de commande est désactivé.
• Arrêter l’interrupteur principal en quittant le navire.

2 Introducción
Este manual contiene las directrices para el uso de la palanca el panel
de mando VETUS DBPPJA.
Las modicaciones no autorizadas deberán excluir la responsabili-
dad del fabricante por cualquier daño que pueda surgir.
• Durante el uso, asegúrese de que el voltaje disponible de la bate-
ría es el correcto.

3 Funcionamiento
3.1 Encendiendo un panel
Conecte el interruptor principal. Ahora el sistema está “stand-by”.
• Pulse el botón "ENCENDIDO/APAGADO"
La luz (1) parpadea en azul y se oye una señal repetitiva, di-di-di ( . .
. ).
El botón "ENCENDIDO/APAGADO" se debe presionar por segunda
vez dentro de 6 segundos. El LED (1) (azul) permanecerá encendido
y el zumbador conrma que el panel está listo para su uso, dando la
señal dahdidah (- . -).
Si hay interconectados varios paneles, parpadeará la luz (1) de los
paneles no encendidos (dos destellos azules cada segundo, pulso).
Para pasar el control a otro panel de mando, realice las acciones ante-
riores en el panel que cede el control.

3.2 Uso
atención
Familiarícese con la operación del panel.
¡Hágalo en una ubicación segura!
En principio, use el panel de control del impulsor de popa y proa so-
lamente a velocidades bajas o cuando realice la maniobra del barco.
Mueva el joystick en la dirección en la que se requiera mover el barco.
El impulsor empieza a un 25% y aumenta proporcionalmente al va-
lor máximo mientras el joystick se mueve adelante hacia su posición
más ultraperiférica.
Mueva suavemente el joystick en la dirección de navegación desea-
da. Si fuera necesario, corrija la dirección, desde la posición media,
moviendo el joystick ligeramente hacia arriba o abajo.
Use el botón rotativo para girar el barco alrededor de su eje.
3.3 Función de retención
Use la función HOLD para ama-
rrar temporalmente su barco.
Hágalo con cuidado y asegúrese
de que su barco no está dañado,
por ejemplo, utilizando paracho-
ques.
• Realice la maniobra del barco
contra objetos para amarrar.
• Ponga en marcha los impulsores de proa y popa con la fuerza su-
ciente para presionar el barco contra el amarre.
• No mueva el joystick. Ahora pulse el botón HOLD.
• Suelte el joystick.
Desactive la función HOLD:
- Pulsando el botón 'HOLD', o
- Pulsando el botón "ENCENDIDO/APAGADO",o
- Moviendo el joystick en la dirección opuesta.
3.4 Apagando un panel
Mantenga pulsado el botón "ENCENDIDO/APAGADO" hasta que se
apaguen todas las luces y se oiga la señal, di-di-di-dah-dah ( . . . - - ). El
panel de mando está apagado.
• Apague el interruptor principal al abandonar el barco.

2 Introduzione
Il presente manuale fornisce le linee guida per l'uso della leva di pan-
nello di comando VETUS DBPPJA.

della batteria.

3 Utilizzo
3.1 Accendere un pannello
Accensione dell’interruttore principale. Ora il sistema è in ‘stand-by’.
• Premere il pulsante "ON/OFF"
Il LED blu (1) lampeggia e il sistema emette un segnale acustico
intermittente, di-di-di ( . . . ).
È necessario premereil pulsante "ON/
OFF" una seconda volta entro 6 secondi. Il LED (1) (blu) rimane acce-
so ed il cicalino confermerà che il pannello è pronto all’uso emetten-
do il segnale acustico dahdidah (- . -).
Nel caso in cui siano collegati più pannelli, il LED (1) sui pannelli non
in uso lampeggia (due volte al secondo in colore blu, modalità di con-
trollo).
Per trasferire il comando a un altro pannello di comando è necessario
eseguire le suddette operazioni sul pannello che si intende disatti-
vare.

3.2 Uso
attenzione
Familiarizzare con il funzionamento del pannello.
Eseguire questo in un luogo sicuro!
In linea di massima, utilizzare il pannello di controllo dell'elica di prua
e di poppa solo a bassa velocità o durante le manovre della barca.
Muovete il joystick nella direzione in cui la barca deve muoversi.
L'elica inizia a circa il 25% e aumenta proporzionalmente no al va-
lore massimo quando il joystick viene spostato nella sua posizione
più estrema.
Spostare delicatamente il joystick nella direzione di navigazione de-
siderata. Se necessario, correggere lo sterzo, dalla posizione centrale,
spostando il joystick leggermente verso l'alto o verso il basso.
Usa la manopola rotativa per girare la barca intorno al suo asse.
3.3 Funzione di sospensione
Utilizzi la funzione SOSPENSIO-
NE per ormeggiare temporane-
amente la sua barca. Fallo con
attenzione e assicurati che la sua
barca non sia danneggiata, per
esempio usando dei parabordi.
• Manovrare la barca verso l'og-
getto da ormeggiare.
• Eseguire l'elica di prua e di poppa con una forza suciente per
premere la barca contro l'ormeggio.
• Non muovere il joystck. Ora premi il pulsante di SOSPENSIONE.
• Rilasciare il joystick.
Disattivare la funzione di SOSPENSIONE mediante:
- Premendo il pulsante di “SOSPENSIONE”, o
- Premendo il pulsante di “ON/OFF”, o
- Spostando il joystick nella direzione opposta.
3.4 Spegnimento di un pannello
Mantenere premuto il pulsante "ON/OFF" no allo spegnimento dei
LED e no all’emissione del segnale acustico, di-di-di-dah-dah ( . . . - - )
l pannello di comando è disattivato.
• Spegnere l’interruttore principale prima di lasciare l’imbarcazione.
