SIMPLE FIRST TIME
OPERATION
Install 2-AA batteries in the Battery
Compartment.
The unit comes up in Speed
Mode.
Hold the unit to one eye and look through the Aiming
Sight.
You
should see the Aiming Reticle.
Press and hold the
Fire/On/Enter button:
The Aiming Sight will look like this:
Place the Aiming Reticle on a reflective surface of the
moving vehicle viewed through the Aiming Sight. Audio
tones can
be
heard
from the unit:
•
Staccato tone means unreliable
speeds.
•
Solid tone means reliable speed and will be accompa-
nied by
a
speed being displayed below the Aiming
Reticle (60 mph in
this
case). Minus (-) sign means the
vehicle is moving
away
.
•
The target speed will update while pressing and hold-
ing
the
Fire/Enter/On button.
