Generelt om sikkerhed

• Brug ikke mekaniske redskaber eller andre kun-

stige hjælpemidler til at fremskynde optøningen.

• Brug ikke andre el-apparater (f.eks. ismaskiner)

inde i køleudstyr, med mindre de er godkendt

til formålet af producenten.

• Kølekredsløbet må ikke beskadiges.

• Apparatets kølekreds indeholder kølemidlet iso-

butan (R600a), en naturlig gas med høj biolo-

gisk nedbrydelighed. Det er dog brandfarligt.

Sørg for, at ingen af kølekredsens komponen-

ter kan tage skade under transport og installati-

• Det er farligt at ændre apparatets specifikatio-

ner eller forsøge at ombygge det på nogen må-

de. Enhver skade på ledningen kan give kort-

slutning, brand og/eller elektrisk stød.

Advarsel Enhver elektrisk komponent (net-

ledning, stik, kompressor) skal udskiftes af

et autoriseret serviceværksted eller en autoriseret

montør.

1. Netledningen må ikke forlænges.

2. Pas på, at stikket ikke bliver klemt eller be-

skadiget af apparatets bagpanel. Et klemt

eller beskadiget stik kan blive overophedet

og starte en brand.

3. Sørg for, at apparatets eltilslutning er let at

komme til.

4. Træk ikke i elledningen.

5. Sæt ikke stikket i kontakten, hvis kontakten

sidder løst. Fare for elektrisk stød eller brand.

6. Der må ikke tændes for apparatet, hvis lam-

pedækslet ikke sidder på

den indvendige

pære.

• Apparatet er tungt. Der skal udvises stor forsig-

tighed ved flytning af det.

• Rør ikke ved ting fra frostafdelingen med fugti-

ge eller våde hænder. Det kan give hudafskrab-

ninger eller forfrysninger.

• Undgå at udsætte apparatet for direkte sollys i

længere tid.

Daglig brug

• Sæt ikke en varm gryde på apparatets plastdele.

• Opbevar ikke brandfarlig gas og væske i appa-

ratet, da de kan eksplodere.

• Sæt ikke maden direkte op mod udluftningen i

apparatets bagvæg.

• Dybfrostvarer må ikke nedfryses igen, når de

har været optøet.

• Opbevar færdigpakkede dybfrostvarer som an-

givet på pakken.

• Følg nøje producentens angivelser vedr. opbe-

varing af produktet.

• Sæt ikke drikkevarer med kulsyre ('brus') i frost-

rummet, da det skaber tryk i beholderen, så

den kan eksplodere og beskadige apparatet.

• Ispinde kan give forfrysninger, hvis de spises li-

ge fra fryseren.

Vedligeholdelse og rengøring

• Inden rengøring slukkes der for apparatet, og

stikket tages ud af kontakten. Sluk på ejendom-

mens el-tavle, hvis du ikke kan komme til stik-

kontakten.

• Inden apparatet tages i brug vaskes det indven-

dig (inkl. tilbehør) med lunkent vand tilsat neu-

tral sæbe for at fjerne den typiske lugt af nyt ap-

parat. Tør grundigt efter.

• Brug ikke metalgenstande til at rengøre appa-

ratet.

• Brug ikke skarpe genstande til at skrabe rim af.

Brug en plastikskraber.

• Brug aldrig en hårtørrer eller andre elektriske

varmekilder til at fremskynde afrimningen. For

kraftig varme kan skade de indvendige plastde-

le, og der kan trænge fugt ind i det elektriske

system, så det bliver strømførende.

• Efterse jævnlig afløbet i køleskabet for afrim-

ningsvand. Rens afløbet efter behov. Hvis aflø-

bet er blokeret, ophobes der vand i bunden af

apparatet.

Installation

Vigtigt Ved tilslutning til lysnet skal vejledningen

i de pågældende afsnit nøje følges.

• Pak apparatet ud, og efterse det for skader. Til-

slut ikke apparatet, hvis det er beskadiget. Even-

tuelle skader på apparatet skal straks anmel-

des til det sted, hvor det er købt. Gem i så fald

emballagen.

• Det anbefales at vente mindst to timer med at

tilslutte apparatet, så olien har tid til at løbe til-

bage i kompressoren.

• Der skal være tilstrækkelig luftudskiftning rundt

om apparatet. Ellers bliver det overophedet.

Følg installationsvejledningen for at sikre til-

strækkelig ventilation.

• Så vidt det overhovedet er muligt skal appara-

tets bagside stå op mod en væg, så man ikke

kan komme til at røre eller hænge fast i varme

dele (kompressor, kondensator), med risiko for

at brænde sig.

• Apparatet må ikke stilles tæt på radiatorer eller

komfurer.

• Sørg for, at det er muligt at komme til netstik-

ket, når apparatet er installeret.

• Tilslut kun til drikkevandsledning (vandværks-

vand).

Service

• Alt el-arbejde, der kræves til vedligeholdelse af

apparatet, skal udføres af en autoriseret el-in-

stallatør.

• Dette produkt må kun serviceres af et autorise-

ret serviceværksted, og der må kun bruges ori-

ginale reservedele.

Miljøhensyn

Apparatet indeholder ikke gasser, der kan

nedbryde ozonlaget, hverken i kølekreds el-

ler isoleringsmaterialer. Apparatet må ikke bort-

skaffes sammen med husholdningsaffald og jord-

fyld. Isoleringsskummet indeholder brændbare

gasser: Apparatet skal bortskaffes i henhold til

gældende bestemmelser. Nærmere oplysninger

fås hos kommunens tekniske forvaltning. Undgå

at beskadige køleenheden, især på bagsiden ved

siden af varmeveksleren. De materialer i appara-

tet, der er mærket med symbolet

, kan gen-

vanvendes.

BETJENING

Tænde

Sæt stikket i stikkontakten.

Drej termostatknappen med uret til en mellemind-

stilling.

Slukning

Sluk for apparatet ved at dreje termostatknappen

til stilling "O".

Temperaturindstilling

Temperaturen reguleres automatisk.

Apparatet betjenes på følgende måde:

• Drej termostatknappen mod lavere indstillinger

for at vælge minimum køling.

• Drej termostatknappen mod højere indstillinger

for at vælge maksimal køling.

I reglen er en mellemindstilling mest passen-

de.

DAGLIG BRUG

Indfrysning af ferskvarer

Frostrummet er velegnet til nedfrysning af friske

madvarer og til langtidsopbevaring af købte frost-

varer og dybfrossen mad.

Til nedfrysning af friske madvarer behøver mellem-

indstillingen ikke at ændres.

Men hvis maden skal indfryses hurtigere, drejes

termostatknappen hen på en højere indstilling for

at få maksimal køling.

Vigtigt I så fald kan temperaturen i

køleafdelingen komme under 0°C. Hvis det sker,

sættes termostatknappen på en varmere

indstilling.

Opbevaring af frosne madvarer

Når skabet tændes igen efter en længere perio-

de, hvor det ikke har været anvendt, skal det kø-

re i mindst 2 timer på højere indstillinger, inden

der lægges madvarer ind.

Vigtigt Hvis madvarerne optøs ved et uheld

(f.eks. som følge af strømsvigt), og

strømafbrydelsen har varet længere end den

angivne temperaturstigningstid under tekniske

specifikationer, skal madvarerne enten spises

eller tilberedes og derefter nedfryses igen (efter

afkøling).

Optøning

Når dybfrostvarer eller nedfrosne madvarer skal

bruges, kan de optøs i køleafdelingen eller ved

stuetemperatur, afhængig af hvornår de skal bru-

ges.

Små stykker kan endda tilberedes uden optø-

ning, direkte fra fryseren: I så fald forlænges tilbe-

redningstiden.

VEDLIGEHOLDELSE OG RENGØRING

Bemærk Kobl apparatet fra

strømforsyningen, før der udføres nogen

som helst form for vedligeholdelse.

Apparatets kølesystem indeholder klorbrin-

ter; Service og påfyldning må derfor kun ud-

føres af en autoriseret tekniker.

Afrimning af køleskabet

Under normal drift afrimes fordamperen i køleaf-

delingen automatisk, hver gang motorkompresso-

ren standser. Afrimningsvandet ledes ud gennem

en rende og ned i en særlig beholder bag på ap-

paratet (over motorkompressoren), hvor det for-

damper.

Afløbet til afrimningsvand sidder midt i renden i kø-

leafdelingen. Det skal jævnlig renses, så vandet ik-

ke løber over og drypper ned på maden i skabet.

Brug den medfølgende special-flaskerenser, der

sidder i afløbshullet ved leveringen.

Afrimning af fryser

Der vil altid dannes lidt rim på hylderne i frost-

rummet og rundt om øverste afdeling.

Vigtigt Fryseren skal afrimes, når laget af rim er

3-5 mm tykt.

Rimlag fjernes på følgende måde:

1. Sluk for apparatet.

2. Tag eventuelle madvarer ud, pak dem ind i

flere lag avispapir, og læg dem et koldt sted.

3. Lad døren stå åben.

4. Når afrimningen er afsluttet, tørres skabet

grundigt af indvendig, og proppen sættes i

igen.

5. Tænd for apparatet.

6. Sæt termostatknappen på højeste trin, og lad

apparatet stå på denne indstilling i to-tre timer.

7. Læg madvarerne på plads igen.

Vigtigt Brug aldrig skarpe metalgenstande til at

skrabe rim af fordamperen. Det kan beskadige

den. Brug ikke mekaniske redskaber eller andre

kunstige hjælpemidler til at fremskynde

optøningen, med mindre de er anbefalet af

producenten. Hvis dybfrostvarernes temperatur

er steget under afrimningen, kan det forkorte

deres holdbarhed.

HVIS NOGET GÅR GALT

Normale driftslyde

• Undertiden kan der høres en svag gurglen eller

boblen, når kølemidlet pumpes gennem spira-

lerne eller rørene. Det er normalt.

• Når kompressoren kører, pumpes kølemidlet

rundt, og der kommer en snurrende og pulse-

rende lyd fra kompressoren. Det er normalt.

• Varmeudvidelsen kan give pludselige knækly-

de. Det er et naturligt og ufarligt fysisk fæno-

men. Det er normalt.

• Når kompressoren tænder og slukker kan der

høres et svagt klik fra termostatknappen. Det

er normalt.

INSTALLATION

Bemærk Læs afsnittet "Om sikkerhed"

omhyggeligt, før apparatet installeres for at

forebygge ulykker, og sikre at det bruges korrekt.

Opstilling

Apparatet kan også opstilles indendørs på et tørt,

ventileret sted (garage eller kælder), men fungerer

bedst, hvis det står et sted, hvor omgivelsernes

temperatur svarer til den klimaklasse, der er angi-

vet på apparatets typeskilt:

Afstandsstykker, bagpå

I posen med brugsanvisningen ligger der to af-

standsstykker, der skal monteres som vist på teg-

ningen.

1. Sæt afstandsstykkerne ind i hullerne. Se efter,

at pilen (A) vender som vist på tegningen.

2. Drej afstandsstykkerne 45° mod uret, til de lå-

ses fast.

Nivellering

Ved opstillingen skal det sikres, at apparatet er i

vater. Det gøres med to justeringsfødder i bun-

den, under apparatets forkant.

Placering

Apparatet bør placeres i god afstand fra varmekil-

der som radiatorer, kedler, direkte sollys osv.

Sørg for, at luften kan cirkulere frit omkring kabi-

nettets bagside. Hvis apparatet placeres under et

overskab, skal der mindst være en afstand på

100 mm mellem apparatets topplade og skabet.

Ellers arbejder det ikke optimalt. Ideelt bør skabet

dog ikke placeres under overskabe. Apparatet

kan sættes præcis i vater med en eller flere af de

justerbare fødder i bunden af kabinettet.

Hvis skabet skal stå i et hjørne, med hængselsi-

den mod væggen, skal der mindst være 10 mm

til væggen, så døren kan åbnes så meget, at hyl-

derne kan tages ud.

Advarsel Det skal være muligt at koble

apparatet fra lysnettet; Der skal derfor være

let adgang til stikket efter installationen.

Vending af dør

Vigtigt Under de følgende operationer er det en

god idé at få en hjælper til at holde godt fast i

skabets døre, mens arbejdet udføres.

Døren vendes på følgende måde:

1. Tag stikket ud af kontakten.

2. Åbn fryserens dør. Løsn hængslet.

3. Tag dørene af ved at trække lidt op i dem, og

fjern hængslet.

4. Fjern blindpropperne over hullerne i modsat-

te side.

5. Skru de to justeringsfødder af, samt skruerne

i nederste dørhængsel. Fjern nederste dør-

hængsel, og montér det i den modsatte side.

6. Skru den yderste skrue i bunden ud, og skru

den i på den modsatte side.

7. Skru øverste hængseltap til døren ud.

8. Skru tappen i på den modsatte side.

9. Sæt dørene på tappene, og montér dørene.

Montér hængslet.

10. Sæt blindpropperne i hullerne på den mod-

satte side (ligger i posen med tilbehør).

11. Stram dørhængslet. Kontrollér, at dørene

flugter.

Fjern grebet, og montér det

på modsatte si-

de.

13. Sæt skabet på plads, bring det i vater, og

vent mindst fire timer med at slutte det til el-

nettet.

Slut med at kontrollere, at:

• Alle skruer er strammet.

• Døren åbner og lukker rigtigt.

Undertiden slutter pakningen ikke perfekt til kabi-

nettet, hvis omgivelserne er kolde (dvs. om vinter-

en). Hvis dette er tilfældet: Pakningen tilpasser

sig efterhånden af sig selv.

Hvis du ikke selv vil vende døren, kan du henven-

de dig til Electrolux Hvidevareservice A/S. En tek-

niker vil herefter vende døren mod betaling.

Elektrisk tilslutning

Inden tilslutning til lysnettet skal det kontrolleres,

at spændingen og frekvensen på typeskiltet sva-

rer til boligens forsyningsstrøm.

Apparatet skal tilsluttes jord. Stikket på netlednin-

gen har en kontakt til dette formål. Hvis der ikke

er jord på stikkontakten, tilsluttes apparatet en

særskilt jordforbindelse i h.t. Stærkstrømsregle-

mentet. Spørg en autoriseret installatør til råds.

Producenten fralægger sig ethvert ansvar, hvis

de nævnte sikkerhedsregler ikke overholdes.

In the interest of your safety and to ensure the cor-

rect use, before installing and first using the appli-

ance, read this user manual carefully, including

its hints and warnings. To avoid unnecessary mis-

takes and accidents, it is important to ensure

that all people using the appliance are thoroughly

familiar with its operation and safety features.

Save these instructions and make sure that they

remain with the appliance if it is moved or sold,

so that everyone using it through its life will be

properly informed on appliance use and safety.

For the safety of life and property keep the pre-

cautions of these user's instructions as the man-

ufacturer is not responsible for damages caused

by omission.

Children and vulnerable people safety

• This appliance is not intended for use by per-

sons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of expe-

rience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use

of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging well away from children.

There is risk of suffocation.

• If you are discarding the appliance pull the plug

out of the socket, cut the connection cable (as

close to the appliance as you can) and remove

the door to prevent playing children to suffer

electric shock or to close themselves into it.

• If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals

is to replace an older appliance having a spring

lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make

that spring lock unusable before you discard

the old appliance. This will prevent it from be-

coming a death trap for a child.

General safety

Caution! Keep ventilation openings clear

of obstruction.

• The appliance is designed exclusively for do-

mestic use.

• The appliance is intended for keeping foodstuff

and/or beverages in a normal household as ex-

plained in this instruction booklet.

• Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial

means to speed up the thawing process.

• Do not use other electrical appliances (such as

ice cream makers) inside of refrigerating appli-

ances, unless they are approved for this pur-

pose by the manufacturer.

• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

• The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained

within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a

natural gas with a high level of environmental

compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.

During transportation and installation of the ap-

pliance, be certain that none of the compo-

nents of the refrigerant circuit become dam-

aged.

If the refrigerant circuit should become dam-

aged:

– avoid open flames and sources of ignition

– thoroughly ventilate the room in which the ap-

pliance is situated

• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or mod-

ify this product in any way. Any damage to the

cord may cause a short-circuit, fire and/or elec-

tric shock.

Warning! Any electrical component (power

cord, plug, compressor) must be replaced

by a certified service agent or qualified service per-

sonnel.

1. Power cord must not be lengthened.

2. Make sure that the power plug is not squash-

ed or damaged by the back of the appli-

ance. A squashed or damaged power plug

may overheat and cause a fire.

3. Make sure that you can come to the mains

plug of the appliance.

4. Do not pull the mains cable.

5. If the power plug socket is loose, do not in-

sert the power plug. There is a risk of elec-

tric shock or fire.

6. You must not operate the appliance with-

out the lamp cover

of interior lighting.

• This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken

when moving it.

• Do not remove nor touch items from the freez-

er compartment if your hands are damp/wet,

as this could cause skin abrasions or frost/freez-

er burns.

• Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance to

direct sunlight.

ces use only. They are not suitable for house-

hold room illumination.

Daily Use

• Do not put hot pot on the plastic parts in the

appliance.

• Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the ap-

pliance, because they may explode.

• Do not place food products directly against the

air outlet on the rear wall.

• Frozen food must not be re-frozen once it has

been thawed out.

• Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance

with the frozen food manufacturer's instruc-

tions.

• Appliance's manufacturers storage recommen-

dations should be strictly adhered to.

• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the

freezer compartment as it creates pressure on

the container, which may cause it to explode,

resulting in damage to the appliance.

• Ice lollies can cause frost burns if consumed

straight from the appliance.

Care and cleaning

• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance

and disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

• Before using the appliance for the first time,

wash the interior and all internal accessories

with lukewarm water and some neutral soap

so as to remove the typical smell of a brand-

new product, then dry thoroughly.

• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.

• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from

the appliance. Use a plastic scraper.

• Never use a hair drier or other heating applian-

ces to speed up defrosting. Excessive heat

may damage the plastic interior, and humidity

could enter the electric system making it live.

• Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator

for defrosted water. If necessary, clean the

drain. If the drain is blocked, water will collect

in the bottom of the appliance.

Installation

Important! For electrical connection carefully

follow the instructions given in specific

paragraphs.

• Unpack the appliance and check if there are

damages on it. Do not connect the appliance if

it is damaged. Report possible damages imme-

diately to the place you bought it. In that case

retain packing.

• It is advisable to wait at least four hours before

connecting the appliance to allow the oil to

flow back in the compressor.

• Adequate air circulation should be around the

appliance, lacking this leads to overheating. To

achieve sufficient ventilation follow the instruc-

Temperature regulation

The temperature is automatically regulated.

To operate the appliance, proceed as follows:

• turn the Temperature regulator toward lower

settings to obtain the minimum coldness.

• turn the Temperature regulator toward higher

settings to obtain the maximum coldness.

A medium setting is generally the most suit-

able.

DAILY USE

Freezing fresh food

The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing

fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen

food for a long time.

To freeze fresh foods it is not necessary to

change the medium setting.

However, for a faster freezing operation, turn the

temperature regulator toward higher settings to

obtain the maximum coldness.

Important! In this condition, the refrigerator

compartment temperature might drop below

0°C. If this occurs reset the temperature

regulator to a warmer setting.

Storage of frozen food

When first starting-up or after a period out of use,

before putting the products in the compartment

let the appliance run at least 2 hours on the high-

er settings.

Important! In the event of accidental defrosting,

for example due to a power failure, if the power

has been off for longer than the value shown in

the technical characteristics chart under "rising

time", the defrosted food must be consumed

quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen

(after cooling).

Thawing

Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used,

can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or

at room temperature, depending on the time avail-

able for this operation.

Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, di-

rectly from the freezer: in this case, cooking will

take longer.

CARE AND CLEANING

Caution! Unplug the appliance before

carrying out any maintenance operation.

This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its

cooling unit; maintenance and recharging

must therefore only be carried out by authorized

technicians.

Defrosting of the refrigerator

Frost is automatically eliminated from the evapo-

rator of the refrigerator compartment every time

the motor compressor stops, during normal use.

The defrost water drains out through a trough in-

to a special container at the back of the appli-

ance, over the motor compressor, where it evap-

orates.

It is important to periodically clean the defrost wa-

ter drain hole in the middle of the refrigerator com-

partment channel to prevent the water overflow-

ing and dripping onto the food inside. Use the spe-

cial cleaner provided, which you will find already

inserted into the drain hole.

Defrosting the freezer

A certain amount of frost will always form on

the freezer shelves and around the top com-

partment.

Important! Defrost the freezer when the frost

layer reaches a thickness of about 3-5 mm.

To remove the frost, do these steps:

1. Switch off the appliance.

2. Remove any stored food, wrap it in several lay-

ers of newspaper and put it in a cool place.

3. Leave the door open.

4. When defrosting is completed, dry the interior

thoroughly and refit the plug.

5. Switch on the appliance.

6. Set the temperature regulator to obtain the

maximum coldness and run the appliance for

two or three hours using this setting.

7. Reload the previously removed food into the

compartment.

Important! Never use sharp metal tools to

scrape off frost from the evaporator as you could

damage it. Do not use a mechanical device or

any artificial means to speed up the thawing

process other than those recommended by the

manufacturer. A temperature rise of the frozen

food packs, during defrosting, may shorten their

safe storage life.

WHAT TO DO IF…

Normal Operating Sounds

• You may hear a faint gurgling and a bubbling

sound when the refrigerant is pumped through

the coils or tubing. This is correct.

• When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is

being pumped around and you will hear a whir-

ring sound and a pulsating noise from the com-

pressor. This is correct.

• The thermic dilatation might cause a sudden

cracking noise. It is natural, not dangerous phys-

ical phenomenon. This is correct.

• When the compressor switches on or switches

off, you will hear a faint "click" of the tempera-

ture regulator. This is correct.

Positioning

tilated indoor (garage or cellar) also, but for opti-

mum performance install this appliance at a loca-

tion where the ambient temperature corresponds

Rear spacers

In the bag with the documentation, there are two

spacers which must be fitted as shown in the fig-

ure.

1. Fit the spacers into the holes. Make sure that

the arrow (A) is positioned as shown in the pic-

ture.

2. Turn counter-clockwise the spacers through

45° until they lock into place.

Levelling

When placing the appliance ensure that it stands

level. This can be achieved by two adjustable feet

at the bottom in front.

Location

The appliance should be installed well away from

sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct

sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely

around the back of the cabinet. To ensure best

performance, if the appliance is positioned below

an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance

between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit

must be at least 100 mm . Ideally, however, the

appliance should not be positioned below over-

hanging wall units. Accurate levelling is ensured

by one or more adjustable feet at the base of the

cabinet.

If the cabinet is placed in a corner and the side

with the hinges facing the wall, the distance be-

tween the wall and the cabinet must be at least

10 mm to allow the door to open enough so that

the shelves can be removed.

Warning! It must be possible to

disconnect the appliance from the mains

power supply; the plug must therefore be easily

accessible after installation.

Door reversibility

Important! To carry out the following

operations, we suggest that this be made with

another person that will keep a firm hold on the

doors of the appliance during the operations.

To change the opening direction of the door, do

these steps:

1. Remove the plug from the power socket.

2. Open the door of the freezer. Loosen the

hinge.

3. Remove the doors by pulling them slightly

and remove the hinge.

4. On the opposite side, remove the hole covers.

5. Unscrew both adjustable feet and the screws

of the bottom door hinge. Remove the bot-

tom door hinge and install it on the opposite

side.

6. Unscrew the bottom far side screw and in-

stall on the opposite side.

7. Unscrew the top door holding pin.

8. Screw the pin back on the other side.

9. Fit the doors into the pins and install the

doors. Install the hinge.

10. On the opposite site, install the hole covers

provided within the accessory bag.

11. Tighten the hinge. Make sure that the doors

are aligned.

13. Reposition, level the appliance, wait for at

least four hours and then connect it to the

power socket.

Do a final check to make sure that:

• All screws are tightened.

• The door opens and closes correctly.

If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter),

the gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. In

that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket.

In case you do not want to carry out the above

mentioned operations, contact the nearest After

Sales Service Force. The After Sales Service spe-

cialist will carry out the reversibility of the doors at

your cost.

Electrical connection

Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and

frequency shown on the rating plate correspond

to your domestic power supply.

The appliance must be earthed. The power sup-

ply cable plug is provided with a contact for this

purpose. If the domestic power supply socket is

not earthed, connect the appliance to a separate

earth in compliance with current regulations, con-

sulting a qualified electrician.

The manufacturer declines all responsibility if the

above safety precautions are not observed.

This appliance complies with the E.E.C. Directives.

sa. Jos poistoaukko on tukossa, vesi kerään-

tyy laitteen pohjalle.

Asennus

Tärkeää Noudata tarkasti sähköliitäntää

• Pura laite pakkauksestaan ja tarkista mahdolli-

set kuljetusvauriot. Vaurioitunutta laitetta ei saa

Lämpötilan säätäminen

Lämpötila säätyy automaattisesti.

Laitetta käytetään seuraavasti:

• Lämpötilaa säädetään korkeammaksi kääntä-

mällä lämpötilan säädintä pienempiä asetusar-

voja kohti.

• Lämpötilaa säädetään kylmemmäksi kääntä-

mällä lämpötilan säädintä suurempia asetusar-

voja kohti.

Keskimääräinen asetus on yleensä sopivin.

PÄIVITTÄINEN KÄYTTÖ

Ruokien pakastaminen

Pakastinosasto soveltuu tuoreiden elintarvikkei-

den pakastamiseen sekä valmispakasteiden pit-

käaikaiseen säilyttämiseen.

Kun pakastat tuoreita elintarvikkeita, keskimää-

räistä asetusta ei tarvitse muuttaa.

Voit kuitenkin nopeuttaa pakastumista kääntämäl-

lä lämpötilan säätimen korkeampaan, maksimi-

lämpötilan asetukseen.

Tärkeää Tällöin jääkaappiosaston lämpötila voi

laskea alle 0 °C:n. Jos näin käy, palauta

pakastimen lämpötilan säädin korkeamman

lämpötilan asetukseen.

Pakasteiden säilyttäminen

Kun käytät pakastinta ensimmäistä kertaa tai pit-

kän käyttämättömän jakson jälkeen, anna laitteen

toimia vähintään kahden tunnin ajan suuremmilla

asetusarvoilla.

Tärkeää Jos pakastin sulaa vahingossa

esimerkiksi sähkökatkon vuoksi, kun sähkö on

ollut poikki pitempään kuin teknisissä

ominaisuuksissa (kohdassa Käyttöönottoaika)

mainitun ajan, sulaneet elintarvikkeet on

käytettävä nopeasti tai valmistettava ruoaksi,

jonka jälkeen ne voidaan pakastaa uudelleen (kun

ne ovat jäähtyneet).

Sulatus

Pakasteet voidaan sulattaa ennen käyttöä jääkaa-

pissa tai huoneen lämpötilassa riippuen siitä, kuin-

ka nopeasti niitä tarvitaan.

Pienempiä paloja voidaan kypsentää myös jäisinä

suoraan pakastimesta otettuna: Kypsennys kes-

tää tässä tapauksessa pitempään.

HOITO JA PUHDISTUS

Normaalikäytössä huurretta poistuu automaatti-

sesti jääkaappiosaston haihduttimesta aina moot-

torin kompressorin pysähtyessä. Sulatusvesi va-

luu laitteen takana, kompressorin yläpuolella sijait-

sevaan kaukaloon, josta se haihtuu.

Jääkaappiosaston kanavan keskellä oleva sulatus-

veden tyhjennysaukko on tärkeää puhdistaa sään-

nöllisin väliajoin, jotta vettä ei tulvi yli ja tipu ruo-

kien päälle. Käytä puhdistuksessa mukana toimi-

tettua välinettä, joka on kiinnitetty tyhjennysauk-

koon.

Pakastimen sulattaminen

Pakastimen hyllyihin ja laitteen yläosaan

muodostuu aina jonkin verran huurretta.

Tärkeää Sulata pakastin, kun huurrekerroksen

paksuus on noin 3-5 mm.
