Introductie
Bedankt dat je hebt gekozen voor één product van Comfort Company. Voordat je de ID
kaartlezer van Comfort Company in gebruik neemt, lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig
door en bewaar het goed. Voor een veilig gebruik dienen de veiligheidsvoorschriften ten
allen tijden worden nageleefd. Indien er vragen zijn over het product, neem dan contact met
ons op.
Met de identiteitskaartlezer van CoCo kun je gemakkelijk en veilig jezelf online identificeren
en een elektronische handtekening zetten. De ID kaartlezer biedt de mogelijkheid om een
identiteitskaart te lezen en te scannen op jouw desktop of laptop. Hiermee kunnen onder
andere de onlinediensten van de Belgische overheid op een eenvoudige, maar vooral veilige
manier geraadpleegd worden.
Waarschuwingen en veiligheidsinstructies
Let erop dat het verpakkingsmateriaal niet in handen komt van kinderen. Zij
kunnen hierin stikken!
Bewaar deze handleiding goed. Lees de instructies zorgvuldig door voordat je de
kaartlezer van CoCo gebruikt.
Algemeen
- Als dit de eerste keer is dat je de kaartlezer van CoCo gebruikt, is het belangrijk dat
de handleiding en instructies zorgvuldig doorgenomen zijn. Let op de risico’s en
consequenties gerelateerd aan het verkeerd gebruiken van de kaartlezer. Persoonlijk
letsel en schade aan het apparaat of producten die erop zijn aangesloten, zijn
gevolgen van het verkeerd gebruiken van het apparaat.
- Gebruik de kaartlezer alleen voor de doeleinden aangegeven in de handleiding.
- Indien de kaartlezer niet goed functioneert, beschadigd of gevallen is, gebruik de
kaartlezer dan NIET en neem contact op met de klantenservice.
- De kaartlezer is bedoeld voor privégebruik.
- Trek NIET aan het snoer om de USB uit uw desktop of laptop te halen.
- Trek NIET aan het snoer om de kaartlezer te verplaatsen.
- Draai NIET aan het snoer.
- Struikel NIET over het Snoer en zorg dat het snoer niet geknakt of gedraaid zit.
Personen en gebruik
- De kaartlezer is GEEN speelgoed en is NIET geschikt voor mensen (inclusief kinderen)
met een mentale beperking of mensen die geen ervaring of kennis over het apparaat
hebben. Indien een toezichthouder aanwezig is, die verantwoordelijk is voor de
veiligheid van de gebruiker is het gebruik van het apparaat toegestaan.
- Houdt de kaartlezer buiten bereik van kinderen.
- Controleer de kaartlezer VOOR gebruik op beschadigingen.
- De kaartlezer mag alleen worden gebruikt door personen die deze instructies hebben
gelezen en begrepen.

Elektra
- Haal de kaartlezer NIET uit elkaar, repareer en herstel de kaartlezer NIET. Dit kan
resulteren in een beschadigd product. De onderdelen mogen ALLEEN vervangen
worden door geautoriseerd onderhoudspersoneel. Stuur de kaartlezer altijd naar het
retouradres voor reparaties om schade en persoonlijk letsel te voorkomen.
- Sluit de kaartlezer NIET aan met netspanningen.
- Veroorzaak geen kortsluiting in de kaartlezer.
- De kaartlezer is niet gecertificeerd voor gebruik in de open lucht; gebruik het alleen
in droge omstandigheden.
- Bescherm het tegen water, een hoge luchtvochtigheid en sneeuw. Houd het uit de
buurt van hoge temperaturen.
- Stel de kaartlezer niet bloot aan plotselinge temperatuurschommelingen of sterke
trillingen, aangezien dit de elektronische componenten kan beschadigen.
- Elke reparatie of wijziging aan het apparaat die niet door de Comfort Company is
uitgevoerd, maakt de garantie ongeldig.

Ontvangen van verzending
Bij ontvangst van de verzending, controleer of de inhoud van het pakket overeenkomt met
de pakbon. Indien er onderdelen ontbreken, neem contact op met de leverancier. Lijkt het
product beschadigd, dien direct een klacht in bij de vervoerder en benader de leverancier
met een gedetailleerde beschrijving van de schade. Bewaar de gehele verzending en maak
foto’s van de beschadigde producten/ verpakking om je klacht te onderbouwen.

Instructies voor gebruik
Dek de kaartlezer niet af als het aanstaat. Leg nooit kussens of dekens op het
apparaat of ertegenaan. Dit kan tot brandgevaar, een elektronische schok,
persoonlijke letsel of schade aan het apparaat leiden.
Houd de kaartlezer uit de buurt van vocht, hitte, ruimtes waar de temperatuur
relatief hoog is en hittebronnen zoals ovens.

1. Haal de kaartlezer uit de verpakking.
2. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
3. Indien Windows Vista of hoger werkt de plug-and-play functie en kunt u verder gaan
naar stap 9.
4. Indien Windows XP of lager volgt u het stappenplan. Open de inhoud van het
stuurprogramma, dat op de bijgevoegde cd staat.
5. Selecteer het stuurprogramma van uw voorkeur.
a. Klik op de map: DVD-rw-station (E:)
b. Klik op de map:
Smart Card Reader_AKCCID_Driver_v17.46.1307(2018,05)_RS4_WHQL
6. Start de installatie handmatig door het bestand: setup te installeren.
7. Sta toe dat de app wijzigingen aan uw apparaat aanbrengt.
8. Klik op volgende; de installatie start.
9. Klik vervolgens op voltooien.
10. Sluit de kaartlezer aan op een beschikbare USB-poort op uw desktop of laptop.
11. De kaartlezer is nu klaar voor gebruik. Om te controleren of het apparaat wordt
weergegeven in uw apparaatbeheerder, gaat u naar het tabblad "Smartcardlezer".
Dit apparaat wordt weergegeven als "Microsoft USBccid Smartcard Reader (WUDF)".
12. Steek je eID of smartcard in de kaartlezer en uw E-business kan beginnen.

Onderhoud
- Haal de kaartlezer uit je desktop of laptop indien je het niet gebruikt.
- Houd de kaartlezer stofvrij.
Opslag
- Bewaar de kaartleer op een droge en schone plek. Bewaar de kaartlezer niet in
extreem hoge of lage temperaturen.
Weggooien – recyclen
- Denk aan het milieu en je toekomstige generaties! Gooi het apparaat aan het einde
van zijn levensduur niet weg met het normale huisvuil, maar lever het in op een door
de overheid aangewezen inzamelpunt om het te laten recyclen.
Service en garantie
- Comfort Company staat altijd voor je klaar om service te verlenen en om informatie
te verschaffen omtrent je product.
- Wij verlenen 2 jaar garantie op onze producten. De klant dient een aankoopbewijs te
kunnen tonen en de garantie dient binnen een periode van 2 jaar na de
aankoopdatum geldend worden gemaakt.
Let op: de garantie geldt niet: bij schade veroorzaakt door onjuist gebruik of
reparatie; voor aan slijtage onderhevige onderdelen; voor gebreken waarvan de klant
bij aankoop op de hoogte was; bij defecten door eigen schuld van de klant, bij schade
door derden.

Introduction
Thank you for choosing a Comfort Company product. Before you are going to use the
Comfort Company smartcard Reader, read the user manual carefully and make sure you
store it well. To use it correctly, the safety regulations must be observed at all times. If
there are any questions about the product, please feel free to contact us.
You can easily and safely identify yourself online with the CoCo ID card reader. Also, you can
place an electronic signature. With the ID card reader, you have the possibility to read and
scan an identity card on your desktop or laptop. With the ID reader, the Belgian government
services can be consulted simple and secure.
Warnings and safety instructions
Make sure that the packaging material does not get into the hands of children.
They can choke on this.
Keep the manual in a safe place. Read the instructions below carefully before using
the CoCo product.
General
- If this is your first time using the CoCo card reader, it is important to read the manual
and instructions carefully. Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with
misuse of the card reader. Personal injury and damage to the device or products
connected to it are consequences of misuse of the device.
- Only use the card reader for the purposes indicated in the manual.
- If the card reader is malfunctioning, damaged or dropped, DO NOT use the card
reader and contact customer service.
- The card reader is intended for private use.
- DO NOT pull the cord to remove the USB from your desktop or laptop.
- DO NOT pull on the cord to move the card reader.
- DO NOT twist the cord.
- DO NOT trip over the cord or allow the cord to be kinked or twisted.
Persons and use
- The card reader is NOT a toy and is NOT suitable for people (including children) with
a mental disability or people who have no experience or knowledge of the device.
The use of the device is permitted if a supervisor is present who is responsible for the
safety of the user.
- Keep the card reader out of the reach of children.
- Check the card reader for damage BEFORE use. The card reader may only be used by
persons who have read and understood these instructions.

Electricity
- DO NOT disassemble, repair, or restore the card reader. This can result in a damaged
product. The parts should be replaced ONLY by authorized service personnel. To
avoid damage and personal injury, always send the card reader to the service centre
for repairs.
- DO NOT connect the card reader with mains voltages.
- Do not short circuit the card reader.
- The card reader is not certified for outdoor use; only use it in dry conditions.
- Protect it from water, high humidity and snow. Please keep it away from high
temperature.
- Do not expose the card reader to sudden temperature changes or strong vibrations,
as this can damage the electronic components.
- Any repair or modification to the device not carried out by Comfort Company will
invalidate the warranty.

Receive from shipment
Upon receipt of the shipment, check that the contents of the package match the packing
slip. If any parts are missing, please contact the supplier. If the product appears damaged,
immediately file a complaint with the carrier and contact the supplier with a detailed
description of the damage. Keep the entire shipment and take photos of the damaged
products / packaging to substantiate your complaint.

Instructions for use
Do NOT cover up the smartcard Reader when it is switched on. Never use it under
blankets or cushions. There is a risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
Keep the smartcard Reader away from moisture, heat and areas where the
surrounding temperature is relatively hot (e.g. stoves or other sources of heat).

1. Remove the card reader from its packaging
2. Remove all packing material.
3. If Windows Vista or higher, the plug-and-play function works and you can proceed to
step 9.
4. If Windows XP or lower, follow the step-by-step plan. Open the contents of the driver,
which is on the enclosed CD.Select your preferred driver
a. Click on: DVD-rw-station (E:)
b. Click on:
Smart Card Reader_AKCCID_Driver_v17.46.1307(2018,05) RS4_WHQL
5. Start the installation manually by clicking on the program: setup.
6. Allow the app to make changes to your device.
7. Click on next: the installation will start.
8. Click on finish.
9. Connect the card reader to an available USB port on your desktop or laptop.
10. The card reader is now ready for use. To check if the device is listed in your device
manager, go to the "Smartcard Reader" tab. This device is listed as "Microsoft USBccid
Smartcard Reader (WUDF)".
11. Insert your debit card, EID or other smartcard into the card reader and your E-business
can be processed.

Maintenance
- Remove the card reader from your desktop or laptop when you are not using it.
- Keep the card reader free of dust.
Storage
Store the map leather in a dry and clean place. Do not store the card reader in extremely
high or low temperatures.
Recycle
Think of the environment and your future generations! Do not throw away the appliance
with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official
collection point for recycling.
Service and warranty
- You can contact us anytime. We would like to help you if you face a problem or if
you want information about your product.
- We provide a 2-year warranty on our products. The customer must be able to
present proof of purchase and the warranty must be valid within a period of 2 years
from the date of purchase. Please note: the warranty does not apply: in the event
of damage caused by incorrect use or repair; for wearing parts; for defects of which
the customer was aware at the time of purchase; in case of defects caused by the
customer's own fault, in case of damage by third parties.
